Venlo sit mid-table ahead of this Friday night encounter with Zwolle but all three points in this clash would see them draw level on points with 7th placed Heracles. Overall, the signs don’t look good for the hosts to achieve the win here as they’ve gone their last five matches without a win in the Dutch top flight.
Heavy defeats to Heracles and Feyenoord, both by 4-1 margins along with a 2-1 loss away at Vitesse look bad for the hosts but it should be remembered that all three of these recent defeats were dished out on their travels.
