Onto Everton, and the murmers of discontent are once again making themselves heard on merseyside as the visitors continue to struggle to find league wins, and indeed, any sort of consistency under former Watford manager, Marco Silva.
Everton have lost five of their last seven matches overall in the top flight with recent losses to Southampton, Wolves and Manchester City adding fuel to the fire and increasing the pressure upon Silva as he struggles to make his mark at Goodison Park.
Even recent wins against Bournemouth and Huddersfield Town have failed to appease the detractors, while Everton’s away record is also below expectations with stats of 3-3-6 15/17, which includes five defeats from their last eight away matches.
In addition, Everton have kept just two clean sheets on their travels all season, and their metal will be tested against a robust Watford outfit at Vicarage Road I fancy.
