Premier League Betting at Marathonbet

Werder Bremen Prediction

Werder Bremen have managed to record just one league win from their last seven matches overall in recent times which was a 3-1 home win over third from bottom club Fortuna Dusseldorf, but this poor sequence of results have seen the hosts drop down to 9th place in the Bundesliga.

The hosts have lost five of their last seven matches with defeats to Bayer Leverkusen (a 6-2 thrashing at home no less), Mainz 05, Borussia Moenchengladbach, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund.

Home has also dipped in recent weeks as Werder Bremen have lost three of their last four on home turf within an overall record of 3-2-3 14/15 where the hosts have managed to keep just one clean sheet so far at home this season.

Midfielder Eggestein (4 goals) leads the way along with Japanese forward Osako (3 goals), but they’ll be mindful of conceding again at the back on Wednesday night.

Hoffenheim Prediction

Hoffenheim jumped into 6th place in the Bundesliga and the last remaining European spot thanks to last weekend’s hard-earned point with Borussia Moenchengladbach which ended in a 0-0 draw. This result became Hoffenheim’s fourth stalemate on the trot in the Bundesliga but extended their unbeaten run in the top flight to eight matches overall.

This solid sequence of recent results include wins over Nurnberg, Stuttgart, Bayer Leverkusen (4-1 away from home) and Augsburg as well as draws with Hertha Berlin, Schalke 04, Wolfsburg and the aforementioned ‘Gladbach.

Hoffenheim’s away record stands at an improved 3-2-2 17/13 after suffering early back-to-back away losses at Bayern Munich and Fortuna Dusseldorf, the visitors have since put together a solid five-match run without defeat on their travels.

Hoffenheim manager, Julian Nagelsmann has several options up front with the likes of Nelson and Kramaric (6 goals apiece) along with Belfodil, Joelinton and Szalai (4 goals each) all getting amongst the goals so far this season.

Betting Tips Verdict

Werder Bremen’s poor recent form looks likely to continue given Hoffenheim’s solid set of results in recent weeks.
