After the first three matches of this new Championship season, Wednesday night’s hosts, West Brom, still remain unbeaten in the second tier having registered 2 wins and 1 draw under their new manager, Slaven Bilic, with an upcoming fixture against lowly Reading.

Early back-to-back defeats to Sheffield Wednesday (3-1 at home) and a 2-1 loss away from home at the KCOM Stadium against Hull City wasn’t the sort of start to to this new campaign that reading manager, Jose Gomes, would have had in mind before the season.
However, a League Cup win away at Wycombe Wanderers, albeit on penalties, at Adams Park was a welcome boost to morale and The Royals followed that victory up with a resounding 3-0 home win over a decidedly lacklustre Cardiff City.
Reading therefore make their way up to the west midlands for this Wednesday night clash against West Brom looking to record a third win on the trot, which could lift the visitors up to a more respectable mid-table position in the Championship.
