West Ham United Preview – Will the Hammers get back to winning ways?
West Ham United finished sixth last season, securing a place in the UEFA Europa League as a result. The Hammers have progressed to the last 16 of that competition and are currently fifth in the Premier League table.
The Londoners relinquished their spot in the top four after losing to Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium in their last league game. Despite their excellent form this season, they have won just one of their last six in the league, suffering defeats to Wolverhampton Wanderers, Manchester City and Arsenal in the process.
West Ham are unbeaten at the London Stadium in the league since losing to Brentford in early October. They could do with a home victory here.
Southampton Preview – Can the Saints end six-game winless streak?
Ralph Hasenhuttl’s Southampton are one of the Premier League’s most inconsistent teams. They are capable of giving anyone a game on their day, but the Saints have only picked up three wins from their opening 17 league games.
Since claiming back-to-back victories over Watford and Aston Villa, Southampton are winless in six. During that run, the Hampshire outfit have lost against Norwich City, Liverpool and Arsenal, and drawn with Leicester City, Brighton & Hove Albion and Crystal Palace.
