The Hammers head into this evening kick-off on Saturday against close rivals, Crystal Palace, having out together a solid and decent 6-match unbeaten run under manager, Manuel Pellegrini, and the hosts will no doubt be keen to go into the international break with a win this evening.
Recent wins against Watford, Norwich City and Manchester United along with points earned in draws with Brighton, Aston Villa and Bournemouth have helped lift the east London side into 5th place in the Premier League, and another three points here could see them jump into 3rd spot.

Crystal Palace Prediction – Can Crystal Palace continue promise?
Crystal Palace occupy 9th place as The Eagles have enjoyed a more stable start to their new Premier League campaign under manager, Roy Hodgson, as the visitors have suffered just 1 defeat out of their last 5 matches overall.
That defeat came in the shape of a heavy 4-0 loss away at Tottenham in what was a dismal and under-par performance by Palace, but Hodgson’s men bounced back after that disappointing result by earning a point in a 1-1 draw at home with Wolves before claiming all three points with a solid 2-0 home win against newly-promoted Norwich City.
Crystal Palace still remain unbeaten on home turf at Selhurst Park this season, but it’s their disappointing performances away from home which will be a concern for Hodgson & co as his side have lost 2 of their first 3 matches on their travels.
Losses at Sheffield United and Tottenham were bad blows, but they did manage a great result at Old Trafford when they beat Manchester united 2-1. One win doesn’t make a season though and they could well struggle at West Ham this evening.
