WEST HAM v CRYSTAL PALACE

Saturday 8th December 2018 – Kickoff: 1500hrs

Football – England – Premier League Betting Tips

It’s another London clash up next with West Ham taking on Crystal Palace as the betting tips continue in the Premier League at the London Stadium.

West Ham continued their revival under manager Manuel Pellegrini with a sound 3-1 home win over strugglers Cardiff City, and although the hosts were given a few scares by The Bluebirds, West Ham grabbed all three points to continue their march up the table.

The Hammers now sit in a healthier 13th place in the top flight and will go in search of a third win on the trot against Crystal Palace having recorded recent back-to-back wins against Newcastle United and the aforementioned Cardiff.

The hosts will also be keen to further improve their home record which stands at  3-1-4  11/12 but will take heart from holding Chelsea to a 0-0 draw as well as wins over Manchester United, Burnley and Cardiff. However, Pellegrini will be without striker Arnautovic (5 goals) due to a hamstring injury but Perez (2 goals) and Hernandez (3 goals) look set to start up front.

Crystal Palace were dealt a major blow on Tuesday night when they lost 3-1 away against fierce rivals, Brighton in a stormy affair at The AMEX Stadium which saw Palace lose to a 10-men Brighton outfit with former striker Glenn Murray helping with the damage.

Palace had previously grabbed a very valuable three points last weekend when they beat an out of sorts Burnley side 2-0 but that has been Roy Hodgson and Palace’s only success in their last 10 matches overall.

The visitors sit three points clear of the relegation zone but they need to start picking up points on a regular basis if they’re to avoid another relegation scrap in the second half of this season. An away record of  2-1-5  7/12 hasn’t been helped by the drop in form of Zaha and Milivojevic, nor has four defeats from their last five on their travels either.

The betting tips suggest backing West Ham with the draw no bet option here given Arnautovic’s absence.
