Football – England – Premier League Betting Tips

Wolves face another tough fixture on Wednesday night when they entertain third placed Chelsea as the betting tips continue at Molineux with the hosts desperate to pull themselves out of their current slump in form.

Wolves were riding the crest of a wave in the early stages of this Premier League season as they suffered just one defeat in their first eight matches of the campaign and collecting four wins over West Ham, Burnley, Southampton and Crystal Palace.

However, the west midlands club are now experiencing the other end of the spectrum and the harsh realities of top flight football as they’ve slumped to six matches without a win which has resulted in their slide down the table to 13th place.

A reasonable home record of  2-2-3  8/10 should provide some belief they can turn things around but they’ve lost their last three on the trot at Molineux with defeats to Watford, Tottenham and most alarmingly of all, Huddersfield Town.

Forwards Jimenez (3 goals) and Cavaleiro (2 goals) may be joined by Bonatini who may be given a rare start up front, but the hosts will be without suspended Ruben Neves for this clash.

Chelsea have responded well to their recent 3-1 humbling away at Tottenham by recording back-to-back wins over PAOK in the Champions League and a 2-0 home win over west London rivals, Fulham on the weekend.

Maurizio Sarri’s side find themselves in a ‘must-win’ match on Wednesday night though as they’re 10 points adrift of Manchester City already, and three points in this encounter would see them at least within a manageable distance of the league leaders, hoping of course that City slip up at some point.

The defeat at Tottenham ended Chelsea’s unbeaten start to the campaign, but they still possess a very useful away record of  4-1-1 13/4 which includes wins at Huddersfield Town, Newcastle United, Southampton and Burnley.

The forward trio of Hazard (7 goals) along with Morata and Pedro (5 goals apiece) will also be confident of notching here tonight.

Both teams need a result here, so the betting tips suggest backing both to score.
