Wolves head into their encounter with Crystal Palace having suffered just one defeat from their last six matches overall which was a 2-0 loss at home to runaway league leaders Liverpool just before Christmas day.
However, recent wins over Chelsea, Newcastle United, Bournemouth and Tottenham have well and truly put to bed any immediate or lingering fears of being embroiled in a relegation battle as the west midlands club now sit in 8th place and hold a commanding 14-point cushion over third from bottom club Burnley ahead of tonight’s fixture with Crystal Palace.
Wolves have shown they’re certainly no pushovers in this their first ever season in the Premier League as they’ve collected notable wins against Chelsea and Tottenham in recent times, and with an okay looking home record of 4-2-4 12/13 under their belts, they’ll fancy their chances of getting something from this clash no doubt.
Forwards Jimenez (6 goals) and Cavaleiro (3 goals) look Wolves’s best bet of hitting the back of the net tonight.

Crystal Palace’s inconsistent streak has reared its ugly head in recent matches as Roy Hodgson’s side find it almost impossible to put any kind of unbeaten run together in this season’s Premier League.
Palace’s best unbeaten run this season to date was a recent three-match sequence which included back-to-back wins against Leicester City and Manchester City – the latter being achieved at the Etihad Stadium along with a draw with Cardiff City.
However, The Eagles then reverted to type with a 1-0 loss at home to Chelsea and they now face a difficult looking trip to the west midlands on Wednesday night to face a confident Wolves outfit. An away record of 3-1-6 12/17 hasn’t done Crystal Palace too many favours but they hit the road on the back of that magnificent win at Manchester City last time out on their travels.
In addition, Roy Hodgson has a knack of picking up points when you least expect it with this Palace side, and they could well pick up something from this fixture too.
