Wolves Preview – Can Wolves return to winning ways?
Wolves have had to endure a disappointing sequence of results in the Premier League lately as the hosts have managed to register just two wins out of their last nine matches overall which has left them sitting in 12th place.
The two victories were achieved against Fulham and Sheffield United but four defeats within this period has prevented Wolves from lifting themselves further up the Premier League table, but it should be noted that three of these four losses were against teams sitting in the top seven.
Three defeats out of their last four at home have seen Wolves lose to Liverpool, West Ham and Burnley but the last four meetings against visitors, Brighton, have all ended in draws and Sunday looks set to continue that trend.
Brighton Preview – Can Seagulls win back-to-back?
A 2-0 home win against Leeds United last weekend handed Brighton a welcome three points and the south coast club also ended a worrying four-match winless streak in the Premier League as well, so the visitors will be in a better frame of mind for Sunday’s trip to the west midlands.
However, wins have been hard to come by for Brighton who have managed to scrape three wins out of their last 12 matches overall, two of which were picked up on home turf at their AMEX Stadium with wins against Newcastle United and Leeds United.
An away record of 5-5-7 17/20 isn’t too bad either but The Seagulls have won just one of their last six games on the road (2-1 at Southampton) along with suffering three defeats and drawing twice as well.
