WREXHAM v EBBSFLEET UNITED

Saturday 15th September 2018 – Kickoff: 1500hrs

Football – England – National League Betting Tips

High-flying Wrexham take on Ebbsleet United with more betting tips in the National League as the hosts look to extend their unbeaten run at the Racecourse Ground on Saturday afternoon.

Wrexham currently sit in second place in the non-league top flight and just one point behind early league leaders, Harrogate Town ahead of this weekend’s action in the National League. The Welsh club have made a good start to the new season as they’ve suffered just one defeat under manager Sam Ricketts.

That loss came in a narrow 1-0 loss away at Solihull Moors, but The Dragons still remain undefeated on home turf with a record of  2-3-0  7/2 behind them, which includes wins over Boreham Wood and Aldershot Town.

Indeed, the Racecourse Ground has become a fortress for Wrexham who have lost just twice in their last 27 matches, while forwards Fondop-Talum (5 goals) and Maguire-Drew (3 goals) will be keen to add to their tallies here.

Onto Ebbsfleet United and they suffered another defeat at home last weekend when they went down to a 1-0 loss to Gateshead which extended the visitors’ run without a win to three matches following a 3-1 defeat at home to Fylde and a 1-1 draw away at Dover Athletic.

Much has been made about Ebbsfleet’s apparent failure to win at their Stonebridge Road ground this season as they’ve lost four of their first five matches on home turf, so a trip to north Wales may just suit them here.

The Kent club remain unbeaten on their travels this season with a record of  3-2-0  7/2 record which includes wins at Hartlepool United, Barnet and Eastleigh, although this Saturday afternoon could provide them with their biggest test yet on the road.

I watched the highlights of Ebbsfleet’s game with Gateshead and some concerns were raised by the visitors’ goalkeeper Ashmore’s handling on occasions, and this may well transmit doubts to the defence too. In addition, Ebbsfleet have lost in their last three visits to the Racecourse Ground.

My betting tips therefore advise backing Wrexham with the draw no bet option in this clash.
