League Two Betting at bet365

Yeovil Town Prediction

Yeovil Town have recently registered back-to-back wins in League Two with victories against 3rd placed Mansfield Town 1-0 away and a 2-0 home win over relegation haunted Notts County which has lifted The Glovers out of the relegation zone for the time being.

Prior to these two recent much needed wins, Yeovil Town had endured a miserable sequence of 10 league matches without a win in the fourth tier, which included no fewer than seven defeats, so we’ll see if Yeovil really have turned a corner against Lincoln City or if it’s just a brief revival.

Yeovil will certainly have their work cut out to get anything out of a strong Lincoln City outfit here, especially when looking at Yeovil Town’s home record so far this season which stands at a disappointing 2-7-5 13/20 with their only successes at Huish Park being wins over Stevenage and Notts County.

Key-Facts – Yeovil Town v Lincoln City

  • Yeovil Town have won just 1 of their last 11 matches at Huish Park
  • Lincoln City are unbeaten in their last 4 matches
  • Lincoln City have lost just 1 of their last 5 away from home

Lincoln City Prediction

Lincoln City consolidated their position at the top of League Two with a local derby win over Grimsby Town in Saturday’s early kick-off which extended The Imps’ unbeaten run in League Two to four matches which includes a 2-1 win away at Cambridge United and points picked up against Port Vale and Swindon Town in 1-1 and 2-2 draws respectively.

Lincoln’s solid form has also extended to their results away from home where they possess a strong away record of 7-3-3 22/12 which includes just one defeat from their last five matches which was a surprising 2-1 loss at Crewe Alexandra.

However, recent wins at Stevenage and Cambridge United along with the derby win over Grimsby Town should give the visitors plenty of confidence of walking away with something in the west country on Tuesday night.

Midfielder Anderson (5 goals) along with proven goalscorer at this level, John Akinde (9 goals) who has plundered a total of 65 goals in his last three and a half seasons in League Two, should ensure The Imps come away with a result here.

Betting Tips Verdict

Yeovil have picked up two wins on the trot recently so I’ll back Lincoln City with the draw no bet option here as they’re on the road.
