Online-Betting Rating:

Our BetTarget bookmaker review takes an in-depth look at the operator to help punters get an understanding of what can be found on their website. BetTarget is a brand which is owned by ASG Technologies.

We cover as much as we can in this review, sizing up everything from the value of odds on offer to any BetTarget bonus offers that are around.

For the betting, we scour through their sportsbook to summarize bet variety. It is the look at the sportsbook which is really going to be the backbone of this review because after all, that is where punters spend most of their time.

When it comes to the BetTarget sportsbook we want to examine as much as well can to give the punter quality information and the BetTarget review is all based on our experience of the site

Other important aspects of online betting are scrutinised as well from the user-friendliness of the BetTarget site through to the account management aspects like deposit and withdrawal options.

Extra features are also looked at, along with the live in-play betting experience that is available on the site.

BetTarget Betting markets and odds quality 9/10

BetTarget Betting Markets

We start the BetTarget review with a look at their sportsbook which at first glance looks very extensive. That can be seen by simply landing on the home page where a list of live and future betting highlight options can be found.

On that main landing page of the BetTarget sportsbook, with so many different events listed that is a major help when it comes to quick navigation. It’s not too difficult to find a popular event to click on.

The top section of the main sportsbook page is for the live-action, while the upcoming markets sit in a section below.

But in both instances, there are menus within them for a punter to click on to filter the sportsbook view by different sports.

So if it was just future Football or Tennis matches that you wanted to see a listing for, that can be done right on the main BetTarget sports book page.

One excellent touch about the display that we noticed for this BetTarget review is that there is more than just the match outright odds listed.

A lot of bookmakers only have the 1X2 for example when it comes to the main listing of football matches.

But at BetTarget there was the 1×2 market along with the Over/Under Goals and BTTS quotes.

The markets that you can see for the Football coupon on the main page can be altered.

So if you wanted to see the Double Chance odds for the listed matches, you can just change the filter. Basically, a lot can be done on the main screen without having to go into a deep dive.

This leads us on to another big positive aspect of the BetTarget experience that we had. That is, navigation was superb.

There are excellent design touches which really help make the website very user friendly. There are links everywhere to help get around the sportsbook which was very easy to drive.

The main sportsbook A-Z menu is on the left-hand side of the screen and for each menu item, the number of available markets is clearly indicated there.

You can choose a timeframe for the menu as well. It can be filtered to leave only markets that are available in the next 24 hours, the next 3 days or the next week.

We will look at extra features further in this BetTarget review, but at this point, a brief mention of the TargetTip needs to be made.

This is a little section that sits on top of the sportsbook menu and provides betting tips, which don’t guarantee any profit.

They are selections for both in-play and forthcoming events, and what you see there is customisable.

All in all the first impression of the BetTarget sportsbook was excellent. Markets are clear and easy to read and we positively rate how customisable the entire experience of the main sportsbook page is.

BetTarget Football Betting Review

The BetTarget football betting section is the focus of the next part of this review as we explore what is in there.

Naturally, football markets take up a big share of the sportsbook and again, there is plenty of direct access to football betting right from the main sportsbook page.

A click on the Football menu link will allow you to visit the available games from a given country and we went through the menu to land on the Premier League markets.

The immediate thing to note is that there were consistently well over 250 betting options available for all of the Premier League matches that were listed at the time, some of them reaching above 300.

So immediately bet variety struck us as being very strong. The Premier League matches for BetTarget football betting could be looked at as a coupon view, which meant being able to look at different markets all in one go for all fixtures.

A filter was positioned above the listing of matches and that is where the power of the BetTarget filter really could be seen.

It was possible to filter the entire Premier League football coupon by options such as Corners, 1st Half, Penalty, Bookings and more.

So that was a very good touch which would be particularly useful for building multi bets.

For an individual match in BetTarget football betting the bet-variety was excellent. It was possible to look at the main popular markets or filter the options by Goals, 1st Half and more.

Along with those popular markets like 1X2 and Over/Under, there were Asian Handicaps, Margins, Multi Correct Score (groups of scorelines), Matchcombo, Multi Goals and Specials.

Within the Specials for the individual football match, there were things like Score In First 5 Minutes, 1×2 5 Minutes and Three Goal Sequence.

The options for football betting were very wide-ranging and for that BetTarget rank highly.

Expanding the football menu in the sportsbook, there were a lot of global markets on offer from the main international scenes to Thailand, Argentina, Honduras, Mexico and a whole lot more.

The football match listing within the site did come marked with a direct link through to statistics.

BetTarget horse racing betting

Just as big of a betting area in the UK as football is horse racing and that’s the area in which we look next for this BetTarget review.

There are horse racing betting opportunities available at BetTarget from the UK and Ireland.

At the time of looking for this BetTarget preview, there were no international horse racing markets that were on offer.

The race cards at BetTarget are simple and they offer the basic information for the runners, such as trainer, jockey and form.

The market history for the runners was available so it was possible to see how the prices for a horse race were shifting over time.

It was a very simple layout making for quick horse racing betting. A click on the Ante-Post section did present a lot of future races which was good to see. Those were linked to UK & Irish racing.

Other sports betting markets at BetTarget

The overall variety of sports within the sportsbook at BetTarget was excellent and easily up to par with what any punter would expect to see.

Naturally, all the major sports like football, tennis, boxing and cricket were all there and there were plenty of markets running within each.

Minor sports were well represented as well as we saw options for Floorball, Futsal, Handball, Table Tennis, Wintersports and Waterpolo.

One very strong area of the BetTarget sportsbook was Esports betting which was notable because the different games in that genre all had their own listing within the sportsbook menu.

Included in that was Dota 2, League Of Legends and Counter-Strike. The matches that we saw in the Esports section of the BetTarget sportsbook were from around the world, from Poland to Japan.

There was a section for Specials, which were mostly non-Sports-related betting markets.

The subgenres within that were entertainment and politics. Among the outright markets for entertainment included things like the Oscars and Nobel Peace Prize and there were a lot of UK Politics betting options under the Politics link.

All in all the sportsbook at BetTarget is pretty impressive.

There is a wonderful ability to be able to really customise the experience to your own preference.

There are so many filters available and views from the grid layout to full layout, to date filters along with the ability to simply mark your own favourite markets, it really adds a good personal touch to the overall betting experience.

Odds Comparison/Betting Margins 9/10

Odds Comparision

We like to pick out some football matches by which to do an odds comparison in a bookmaker review. That’s because football is one of the most popular betting areas that there is.

In doing so it allows us to look at the kind of bookmaker margin that is in play at a bookmaker.

The first couple of matches from the Premier League that we looked at had 4.3% bookmaker margins on the match outright.

A third one was a little higher at a 4.7% bookmaker margin on a match in which there was a strong odds-on favourite.

In our experience, we would say these are pretty fair margins for an online bookmaker to be operating at for this kind of football match.

BetTarget In-play betting 8/10

BetTarget In-play betting

When landing on the homepage of BetTarget there are a lot of in-play betting opportunities which are automatically presented to customers.

These are in their own dedicated section and the markets are presented very well and very clear.

With each listing, the amount of time that has passed in the event is marked as the first piece of information.

The changes in prices of the markets are indicated by a brief flashing arrow for drifting or shortening odds.

A padlock will pop up when the markets become locked because of a major event having happened within a fixture, such as a goal being scored.

Along with the current scores in the status of each game, right there in the main window of the in-play section, the link to the rest of the in-play markets are indicated.

Depending on the profile of a match that is in question, the in-play football betting options can range from an average of 10 to 90+ for a match.

A click-through of an individual match brings an excellent stats interface by which to follow the game.

Views there can be switched from the score, to match stats, head to head, line ups, incidents and more.

With the navigation done so well on the site, it’s easy to filter through the numerous betting options that they have for a live match, through the use of menus.

The in-play sports betting experience at BetTarget goes well beyond just the football of course.

There are a whole host of sports that are covered by their excellent in-play betting service.

That ranges from the likes of Basketball, Baseball and American football, through to cricket, darts, volleyball and tennis.

So punters will find a lot of opportunities presented to them because of how much in-play betting BetTarget has, which is a big plus for them.

Also included in the live-betting at BetTarget is Esports and at the time of looking at the sportsbook for this bookmaker review, we saw options for Counter-Strike and Dota 2 in-play.

There were only a couple of in-play options for both types of games, which were basic map and handicap options.

In summary of the in-play betting at BetTarget, it came across very well and there was a lot to like about, even down to some live TargetTips that we saw.

In all, BetTarget ranks very well with us because of the quality of their in-play betting. The sheer volume of live bets they offer is exemplary.

Extras & Features of BetTarget 7/10

Extras & features

For the next part of this bookmaker review UK, we examine some of the extra features which are added on to the main sports betting experience on the website.

The TargetTip

Given a dedicated section of its own on the page layout is the BetTarget TargetTip. First things first, while they are betting tips presented by the bookmaker they in no way guarantee any profit.

They are just stats-driven recommendations which the punter can choose to back or not. There are tips for both live in-play matches and for pre-match opportunities.

One of the nice things about this betting feature at BetTarget is it is possible to customise what tips you see.

You can apply filters for only tips that involve Goals or Dropping Odds to be shown to you. It’s possible to set up filter parameters by scenario as well, such as when a favourite falls behind in a match.

Cash Out

There are cash out options within the BetTarget sportsbook which means that you don’t have to wait until the end of a match to settle a bet if you wanted.

With the BetTarget cash out, the tool can be used on Single or Combo bets whenever available.

Just monitor your active bets and if there is an opportunity that the bookmaker is presenting to cash out, you can select the option with the “Cash Out” button.

Cash out isn’t available on all markets but can be found on selected events, matches and markets (both pre-match and in-play). The likes of football, tennis, basketball, cricket and volleyball have cash out available.

Combo Bet Boosts

There are combo boosts on the website as well which operate on a sliding scale. This is where bonuses are issued on top of your winnings for landing a certain combo.

An example is that a successful 4-fold wager will receive a 4% winnings boost, a 10-fold 30% all the way up the ladder to the maximum of a 77% boost for a successful 15-fold.

The minimum entry bet for the Betarget bonus of combo boosts is a 4-fold with minimum odds of 1/2 per selection.

BetTarget payment options - deposit and withdrawal methods 7/10

Next in focus in the bookmaker review is the BetTarget payment options which are open for customers.

As a reminder that to avail of the BetTarget welcome bonus, customers who deposit with Neteller, PayPal, Skrill or Skrill 1-Tap will not be eligible for that free bet promotion.

There are a lot of different payment methods that BetTarget have available, but some are limited when it comes to currencies.

The main options for UK players are Visa and Mastercard, Paysafecard, Trustly, Skrill, Paypal and Neteller,

The deposit time for most payment methods is instant.

How to deposit BetTarget

Click on the “Cashier” button in your account and there exists a Deposit link. That will bring up the different payment methods that will be available to you. There is a lot of help and clear instructions to guide customers through entering details and finalising the loading of the account with funds.

How to make a withdrawal at BetTarget

Depending on the withdrawal method being used for a BetTarget withdrawal, there will be varying times to process things.

Note that withdrawals need to go back to the initial funding source. The average time for BetTarget withdrawal is anywhere up to six days, with e-wallets being processed a bit quicker than say cards.

Withdrawals can be done through the Cashier section of an account and by selecting the “Cash Out Request” button after having filled out the required information.

The transaction history can be checked and customs will have up to 48 hours to cancel a transaction.

Any transactions that are still marked “Awaiting Process” can be cancelled, while any that have moved to “Processing” has gone beyond the point where they can be stopped.

All cash out requests made to BetTarget is processed within 48 hours from the date of request.

Note that for withdrawals, full account verification is going to be needed.

This is confirmation of things like ID and address to permit secure transactions. It is worth completing any verification requests upon account set up to help offset any potential delays in withdrawing funds.

BetTarget Mobile App 7/10

BetTarget does not have a dedicated sports betting app for iOS or Android, so everything when it comes to mobile platforms is done through their mobile website.

This does operate well and in our experience, nothing about the overall BetTarget experience was lost when looking at the mobile version.

All of the features was there as was the excellent navigation and quick access to their extensive betting opportunities.

Registration for a BetTarget account as well as full bet and account management can all be done through the mobile website.

Despite not having betting apps, the design of the website is a mobile-first design, meaning that a lot has gone into making the platform very viable for mobile users.

BetTarget Customer Service & Support, Security & Reliability 8/10

Customer Service

The first thing that we looked at when it came to the BetTarget customer service was the security of their financial transactions.

A Padlock symbol on the screen shows then when it comes to processing a payment or withdrawal, that your personal information is encrypted. For security, BetTarget uses 128-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption to a firewall-protected secure server.

“CARE ” is at the heart of the BetTarget customer service experience and that is an acronym for Customers Are Really Everything.

In terms of the type of help that they offer, the Help and FAQ sections are accessible through links at the bottom of the website.

The FAQ section we found to be very well populated with answers to everything about the website from technical questions, to how to pay bonuses and payment/withdrawal methods.

A BetTarget chat can be started with a customer support member through the “Contact Us” link. The BetTarget support team, as reported on their site, is available 7 days a week from 08:00 CET to 00:00 CET.

Our BetTarget review rating: 7 / 10

In summary of the BetTarget bookmaker review, we found a lot of positives that we feel would give customers a good platform for betting with them.

A big positive for the website is that the navigation around the sportsbook is just exemplary.

Things are extremely well laid out and the degree of customisation that can be done is phenomenal.

Because of all the menus and filters that are available to change the view of the betting markets that you see, a lot can be done right from the main landing page of the sportsbook.

There are good odds to be found throughout the sportsbook as well, and with nice touches from extra features, gives punters a solid platform.

Some punters may miss things like live streams, more international horse racing and a dedicated app, but based solely on what BetTarget do offer, they return a very positive rating with us.
