FANSBET REVIEW 2020 - SPORTS BETTING REVIEW

OUR OPINIONS ABOUT FANSBET

  • Very strong mobile betting
  • A very well presented website
  • Good for futures betting

Online-Betting Rating:

This is our Fansbet review. What Fansbet brings to the table is just something that is a little bit different.

That comes through them giving something back. Part of their mission is to forge a strong bond with fans, as they commit half of their net profits with supporters.

That is the reason why Fansbet UK boasts itself as being a unique betting platform.

A punter upon registering with Fansbet can choose your local fan partner/club/organisation that they want to receive funds.

So that is a tight partnership that they form.

The company was initially founded by fans with their principles being about fans, by fans for fans. So their Fan Partner scheme is a big feature of the entire Fansbet experience.

We will explore the Fansbet Fan Partner Scheme later in this Fansbet review.

But first a little more about the company themselves. They are licensed and regulated by the UK Gambling Commission and the Maltese Gaming Authorities.

Their sportsbook came into being in 2017, which originally started in Norway.

To start the in-depth look at this Fansbet betting review, we will explore the betting markets and odds within their sportsbook.

Betting markets and odds quality 6/10

Betting markets

Kicking off the Fansbet sportsbook review, we took a general look around at what was on offer. At first glance, things looked very good there. Certainly in terms of market depth, quality, variety and Fansbet odds.

It is worth noting right off the bat that a visit to Fansbet.com will take you straight to the casino front. But there is a quick link across the top horizontal menu to get to either the Sportsbook or the In-Play sports action.

Within the sportsbook, the big main focuses are the major sports like football, tennis, golf etc but it’s not just that. The sportsbook does include horse racing as well and all the major stuff is covered well.

There weren’t quite as much of the niche markets around that we have seen at other operators. But in terms of what is there on the website, there is a fantastic bet variety within the markets at Fansbet UK.

We looked at an obscure game from the Chile Cup late on a Sunday afternoon and there were over 40 in-play markets going on at the time. The football and tennis, in particular, was well represented by the depth of market variety.

We looked at futures tennis and there was an average of 25 markets per fixture for example. So that was a pretty solid footing there for any punter to have a look at in terms of exploring bet options.

All in all, there was a pretty well-rounded product.

To move this Fansbet review onwards, we will take a look further into things by taking a look at some of the main sections of the sportsbook.

odds comparisons

We continue with our look at Fansbet sports. We immediately liked the variety that was on offer in the football section at Fansbet.

There were the big European markets there along with markets from the likes of South Korea, Africa and South America.

So there was good full coverage of things on that front. Clicking on the main football section through the sportsbook link on the left-hand side raises a list of leagues in the main screen.

Current live matches are listed down the right-hand side.

Extra navigation is going to be needed from that point to get to your preferred market. For example, clicking on the Premier League will bring up the upcoming games for that.

The match odds are presented by default but there is a menu link above that can change that.

So you can be looking at the entire Premier League coupon for example and change to see Both Teams To Score for all of the games at once.

Also alongside each match that is listed there, is the number of other bets that you can see. There were over 100 different markets on the Premier League games that we saw to explore.

There is a small horizontal menu to help get through the long list of available bets in this Fansbet sports section.

The main horizontal menu for an individual game has Main, Goals, Halves, Period and Specials bets.

Racing

There is a racing section at Fansbet. There is both domestic and international action to look at. Presented on the main racing screen are the next five races.

But then you can click through to a race which will have easy access to the rest of the races from that meeting. The two main tabs are Racecard and Forecast/Tricast.

The race card is well presented and along with the obvious Fansbet odds, is race info like the silks, stall draws, weight and age. So the basics are certainly there, but it is missing more insights like some other operators have integrated into their race card.

Alongside each other, there is a Previous Odds column which clearly shows which way the odds are shifting per-runner in the market. The race card can be sorted by a descending or an ascending odds view.

Esports

The Esports section is pretty extensive at Fansbet. There was a good variety from around the world.

There was action from South America and Oceania leagues sitting alongside the bigger European and North American markets.

When we visited for the Fansbet review we saw Counter-Strike, Dota 2, Rainbow Six, Overwatch and League of Legends action.

It totally depends what league you are looking at and when you are looking at it as to how many sub-markets that you would see.

For example when we looked there were Dota 2 ESL One matches presented.

But the two matches there only had the match outright. But at the very steam time, we looked at the Dota 2 Vulkan Fights Series match for the following day and there were six markets in total.

There was a Full-Time Spread, Over/Under and Map Winner markets available. So the variety is there within the Fansbet sportsbook but timing is a big part of finding it.

Summary

Considering that the Fansbet sportsbook was only launched in 2017 they have come a long way quickly. There is good variety around which should satiate the needs of the average punter.

They are a bit stronger with the bigger sports and markets, but the overall presentation of the sportsbook is very nice.

It is comfortable enough to navigate around there and they really scored highly for the amount of variety that is there.

Fansbet are superb for the amount of variety that they have on football. So that’s a big plus. The Fansbet odds are not anything off-putting so there is a well rounded product overall there.

In-play betting 7/10

live in-play betting

The main in-play section is accessed through the top horizontal menu. A click on that will raise a section on the main screen which brings up a list of the current action by sport.

The default when you click through the link to get there was football. All of the other sports that have current in-play action are listed beside that. So it is a matter of just clicking by sport, which aids navigation nicely.

Other options within the Fansbet in-play action include the Event View, Live Schedule, Results and Promotions as well. So there is a good deal of action going on there.

But for this Fansbet review, we will explore a little bit deeper by looking at some of the individual sections.

In-Play Football

The in-play football section at Fansbet offered a good range of matches. It was everything that a punter would expect to find within such a section.

One of the standout features of it was the variety, however.

Again the number of different betting options was a big positive, just as we have already expressed in the Fansbet sportsbook review.

We scanned around different football matches that were being offered at the time and the lesser games had around an average of 20-50 markets.

When it came to the higher-profile matches, there was upwards of 50 different markets to browse through. At the top of the page for an individual match, there was a graphical representation of the action.

The usual things were to be found there like the correct score, over/under, handicap markets and more. There was a bit of statistical information going around to indicate the flow of the fixture.

A good touch about navigation is that down the right-hand side of the screen there is a listing of other live matches. So switching around was easy.

In-Play Esports

Fansbet does have in-play Esports betting available. We saw plenty of markets covered across a range of games. There was action from Dota 2, League Of Legends, Counter-Strike and Overwatch.

So there is a lot covered. But what about the bet variety with in-play esports at Fansbet?

We found a decent number there for the taking and an example of that was an average of 8 markets available on League Of Legends and that was from leagues from China and the USA.

In this Fanbset betting review, we found an average of six betting markets available on each match that was available. There was actually a good range of in-play Esports options there, just as there are on the pre-match eSports market.

Extras & features 6/10

Extras & features

In the next section of this Fansbet review, we will take a look at some of the features that were to be found on the website. What we are looking for in this area is things than build on the sportsbook.

We looked for tools that could enhance the overall experience.

Fansbet Cashout

Does Fansbet have cash out? Yes. The cash-out feature is available at Fansbet, which allows punters to take control of active bets.

The Fansbet cash-out tool allows punters to secure profit or limit losses.

It is not available on all markets but it is widespread across the football section of the sportsbook.

Acca Boost

The Fansbet Acca Boost allows punters to return a little extra on a qualifying successful acca. The top limit of the acca bonus reward from Fansbet is a 100% bonus.

The more legs that are on the successful acca, then the bigger the extra bonus payout will be. It is real cash that is paid out through the Fansbet Acca Boost.

It starts with a 5% bonus for a successful 4-fold and runs all the way up to that 100% for a successful 15-fold. To qualify or the acca boost then the minimum odds is 1/5 (1.2) per selection.

Fans Boost

A feature of the Fansbet experience is their Fans Boosts. This is a section where the operator simply offers special price boosts on markets. These will be specific to the player.

That will help the punter get the most value out of those Fans Boosts. So these will pop up featuring a lot of the major sports like football and racing, just tailored for the individual.

There is a link on the main page of the home screen to get there, or a jump through the main sportsbook menu will take a player to the Boosts.

Fansbet Weekly Offers

If you look at the promotions page at Fansbet then there are weekly offers available. What this is, is weekly special offers on each day of the week.

For example, Tuesdays offer a free bet, Wednesdays offer a £10 risk free bet and so on.

The offers will vary on each of the days available, so it’s worth checking in with the page to see the options that are currently available.

Fansbet payment options - deposit and withdrawal methods 7/10

Fansbet payment options

Next for this Fansbet sports betting review, we have to skip to the deposit and withdrawal process that is available on the site.

Let’s start with the Fansbet payment options. They offer a lot of variety through e-wallets and instant bank transfers. Included in that list are the likes of Skrill and ecoPayz.

Fansebet do not charge fees for a deposit. First, do a Fan Bet login and then click on the Deposit button at the top of the home page. That will then raise all of the available methods to deposit with.

For a Fansbet withdrawal, you will need to do a Fansbet login.

To request a withdrawal at Fansbet you will need to then go to your Username on the top of the page and select the Withdraw link that is there.

What is the Fansbet withdrawal time?

Well, this will vary on what method you are using. They state that their own processing time can take up to one working day and that is on a fully verified account.

A Fansbet verification for an account has to be completed before the withdrawal of any funds.

Extra days could be tallied up on the end of the financial insulation used. A Fansbet withdrawal operates on a closed-loop system which means that you should withdraw to the same method that you had deposited with.

User-friendliness of website 6/10

User-friendliness of website

The look of the Fansbet website is actually very nice. It’s clean and the green, black and white theme really resonated well with us for this Fansbet review.

The operation of the site is easy enough, with a standard menu and the main markets listed in the centre of the page.

The layout of the site allows for quick access around the different sections and it was all very clear and easy to read. The odds stood out well, as did price fluctuations.

It is easy to spot the number of sub-markets for a given match and the link to stats are conveniently placed as well. So all in all, there is a nice clean website in operation.

The Fansbet UK website is not really flashy or anything, it’s all just very simple and straightforward.

So that actually helps up score them well in the Fansbet sports betting review, because of that simple operation.

Fansbet Mobile App

Fansbet Mobile App

As it stands at the time of writing this Fansbet review, there was no Fansbet app. So obviously because of that, we can’t deliver a Fansbet app review.

But the alternative option is the mobile website that can be accessed on devices. So instead we had a look at that, to see how it looked and operated.

Again, we have to just say, like the main website on a computer, we found it to be straightforward to use.

The navigation was easy enough that a couple of clicks or swipes at most allowed us to get where we need to.

It was a pretty smooth experience getting around and it is basically the same experience as the full site. Account management and features can all be accessed through there.

But still, we can’t help feel the overall experience would have been massively enhanced with a Fansbet app.

Customer Service & Support, Security & Reliability 7/10

Customer Service

There is a Contact Us link at the bottom of the page which directs to a page offering a couple of options.

The main points do not offer a Fansbet contact number. Instead, they push towards contact via email support@fanbset.com or a Fansbet live chat.

The live chat is available in the bottom right-hand corner of the Contact Us page, but there is a direct link in the main horizontal menu on the site, so it can be accessed wherever you are on the Fansbet website.

Our Fansbet review rating: 6 / 10

Fansbet review

The Fansbet website was nice enough to drive but we felt that there were things which would have improved the experience.

Among those would be a bigger racing section, a dedicated app and a few extra features like live streaming.

The variety of bet options could have been a tough stronger as well when stacked up against some of the industry’s big players.

If you base the website solely on the sportsbook then it is good, it is very functional with some great markets from sporting events around the world.

The odds are fairly decent there as well, but at the end of the day is a very straightforward, simple platform that punters will be accessing.
