FANSBET REVIEW 2019 - SPORTS BETTING REVIEW

OUR OPINIONS ABOUT FANSBET

  • Very strong mobile betting
  • A very well presented website
  • Good for futures betting

Online-Betting Rating:

Fansbet offer something a little different in terms of giving something back. They boast themselves as being a unique betting platform because they forge a bond with fans by sending half of their net profits to supporters. This is done through their Fan Partner scheme you where you enter the details of where you want a donation to go (fan partner, club or organisation) and they will receive funds on a quarterly basis. All of your bets are tracked automatically towards this.

Betting markets and odds quality 6/10

Betting markets

There was a decent sportsbook that we found when test driving Fansbet. It all looks very good and there was enough depth and variety in tht sportsbook to keep us hanging around. Of course, their main focus on the big sports like football, tennis, golf etc but it’s not just that. Along with the good variety of sporting options from around the world, there is fantastic bet variety within the markets.

We looked at an obscure game from the Chile Cup late on a Sunday afternoon and there was over 40 in play markets going on at the time. The football and tennis, in particular, was well represented by the depth of market variety. We looked at futures tennis and there was an avatar of 25 markets per fixture for example.

odds comparisons

There is horse racing on offer at Fansbet but you will find more extensive coverage at the more established, bigger bookmakers. All in all, there was a pretty well-rounded product.

We compared some random market prices with other bookmakers and found that some of the bookie margins weren’t the best around. It is most certainly not a big trader when you stack Fansbet up against the big guns in the industry.

That is going to limit some of the strength of the odds and has to be taken into consideration. But by the same token, for a relatively new player on the scene, they weren’t the worst and there was a section for fan boosts to search out a little extra value.

In-play betting 7/10

live in-play betting

Fansbet has a pretty decent in-play section on their website. It is all clear and concise and the options can be accessed from either the home page. There they display select fixtures, or you can go to their full in-play section to get a full picture. You can navigate through the different sports and we found a very good variety of sports that were available for in-play, including motor racing, basketball, baseball, golf, tennis and football when we looked.

Of course, an in-play service will thrive further when there are plenty of options. In random football games, we saw anything between 20 and over 50 in-play pre-match markets available. There is good organisation within the Fansbet in-play section where you can go by event view, see the result and check out the live schedule.

Extras & features 6/10

Extras & features

The types of extra features that could be found at other bookmakers are a bit thin on the ground with Fansbet. There is a fantasy section there as well as pools/jackpot betting. In the jackpots section, there are bonuses up to £5,000,000. Their main feature is the fan boost which delivers enhanced odds to their members. Other than that really you are struggling when it comes to features. So if all the extras are things that you want to enjoy as part of your betting, (things like bet builder, live streams etc) then you may feel a little short.

Fansbet payment options - deposit and withdrawal methods 7/10

Fansbet payment options

There are good deposit options available at Fansbet including the expected Visa and Mastercard options. Skrill, Paysafe, Neteller, ecoPayz and bank transfer options through Trustly are also available. The maximum that you can deposit in one day is £5,000. There are no fees for Fansbet deposits.

Check with your funding account though as they may charge on that end. The minimum withdrawal amount is £10.00 to £30.00 or your currency equivalent depending on the chosen method. Fansbet will insist that withdrawals all go back to the original funding source. Withdrawal times will vary depending on the method used.

User-friendliness of website & mobile app / mobile version 6/10

User-friendliness of website & mobile app

Fansbet does score pretty well in terms of user-friendliness. The site is well laid out inasmuch as there is no clutter. There is plenty of space between markets and listings so prices can easily be seen. The bet slip is nice and functional and smooth to operate. In clicking around the different sections we found the website operation to be pretty quick. There is no direct fansbet app though so it is going to be relying on the mobile version of their website.

Customer Service & Support, Security & Reliability 7/10

Customer Service

There is support, in one way or another, available 24/7 with Fansbet. it looks as if they want the first point of contact to be a live chat with an agent. There is a button at the bottom of the screen constantly to give you good access there. Access is also gained through the help section. There is an email address which is support@fansbet.com so there is that option as well. There was no telephone number available. All client funds are held in a separate client trust account the Bank of Valletta for security.  Full details of their security standards are on their help page.

Overall / Conclusion : 6 / 10

Fansbet review

Fansbet was nice enough to drive but we felt that there were things which would have improved the experience, like a bigger racing section, a dedicated app and extra features. If you base the website solely on the sportsbook then it is good, it is very functional with some great markets from sporting events around the world.
