This is only open to 2 year olds so we get to see some the sharpest juveniles around at this distance.

Zamaani the 9/4 FAV in Doncaster Stakes odds
The form of ZAMAANI cannot be questioned as he heads back out for action. He has already won a couple of times this season and has been in the frame in each of his last half a dozen runs.
It’s been fantastic stuff from the youngster who impressed again on his last run, which was at Redcar.
That was in the Two-Year-Old Trophy where he finished runner up, finding only LuUllaby Moon too good by half a length.
The wins that Zamaani has picked up for the campaign have been at Goodwood and Windsor. He won’t mind the ground going towards the softer side if it does.

The time is right for Just Frank to score?
There doesn’t appear too much to split JUST FRANK and ZAMAANI in this one. The former has hit some top form as well.
Just Franke claimed a superb win on a 6f trip at Newmarket three weeks ago. That was a good bold run and more is expected.
His other win for the campaign happened at Thirsk, leaving him seeking the completion of a hattrick.

Lipizzaner not to be discounted
There was a win for LIPIZZANER at Navan in September, which saw him open his account at the fourth time of asking.
That remains his only win to date, but he wasn’t far away on his last trip. Notably, he is coming down in class from his last effort too.
That last run saw him up in Grade 3 company at the Curragh on a 6f trip. Lipizzaner was runner up on the day by just over a length.

Can exciting Helmont upset the field?
This will be the second racetrack appearance only for exciting prospect HELMONT. On his debut he was at Haydock on a 6f trip in good conditions.
Considering that the three horses immediately behind him in that contest have all gone on to win since that form has been franked.

Shark Two One
It has been two wins in his last three runs for SHARK TWO ONE. The first of those was in a good fixture at the Curragh in September.
He followed that up with another impressive score at Redcar earlier this month, romping home by four lengths in a field of 14.

Outsider Intrusive with a lot to find
INTRUSIVE got off the mark at the third time of asking. That was on his latest run when he delivered at Ayr a couple of weeks ago.
That was in a minor event and faces degrees of competition that he hasn’t before in this fixture.

This is such a tight call between JUST FRANK and ZAMAANI. We will just have to go with the latter because of a bit extra in terms of experience.
Zamaani’s couple of scores in the summer can’t be ignored and the one at Redcar really stood out.
