Finest Sound the 13/8 favourite in Bet365 Mile Handicap Odds

Raising the claims of FINEST SOUND was the performance that he delivered on a reappearance at Haydock, banking a win there.

He then produced another very strong run when he showed up at Royal Ascot in the middle of June and took second place in a field of 22 in the Britannia Stakes.

He has come to life this season after both a gelding and wind surgery and looks to be a front runner for the Bet365 Mile Handicap on Saturday.

There is surely further improvement to be made and at Ascot he was a big four lengths clear of the third-place finisher.

As the 13/8 favourite FINEST SOUND is likely to get further backing* (betting odds taken from Boylesports at 20:04 GMT on Friday 10th July 2020)

Eastern World a threat back at Newmarket

EASTERN WORLD brings course and distance claims to the table in Bet365 Mile Handicap odds. That success was in his last race when he broke his duck in a maiden two weeks ago.

He goes off a mark of 90 which looks fair enough for him and should be well suited here under handicap terms.

He definitely looked more positive last time out and lines up as the current 7/2 second-favourite* (betting odds taken from Boylesports at 20:04 GMT on Friday 10th July 2020).

Establish can threat over the mile

An unlucky turn of events prevented ESTABLISH getting anything better than third place on his reappearance. That was actually his handicap debut which was at Lingfield and he travelled well.

But then with a clear run under his belt he showed what he could do, scoring in a 1m novice at Bath just over a couple of weeks ago. Stiffer opposition awaits him in this one, but he looks to have plenty of strength.

Haqeeqy seeks a hattrick

There is nothing wrong with the form of HAQEEQY as well in this kind of line up. Trained by John Gosden, he scored on the Rowley course in his last effort on a 7f trip, winning by two and a quarter lengths.

That followed a very impressive maiden success in early June at Yarmouth where he looked so much better than he did on his one juvenile trip.

The extra furlong doesn’t look likely to halt him and course experience could see him feature from an interesting 6/1 quote* (betting odds taken from Boylesports at 20:04 GMT on Friday 10th July 2020).

Impatient could improve further

There is a great field here of unexposed runners and IMPATIENT is another of them. His form is there as well after scoring in a nursery in October.

Impatient went back there in June and stretched his legs well to take a good second in a show of progress. Place claims could be there from 18/1* (betting odds taken from Boylesports at 20:04 GMT on Friday 10th July 2020).

Others to note

ZIGGLE POPS scored a good 7f handicap success on the all-weather at Lingfield in June. He battled well to the finish there. But then it all went terribly wrong for him at the Britannia Stakes at Royal Ascot. Needs to bounce back.

SURF DANCER was fourth on his recent handicap debut which was at Sandown. He merited a little bit more than that, but came up short over the final half a furlong. He’s an interesting contender nonetheless.

Predictions & Tips for Bet365 Mile Handicap Odds

There are some really good youngsters knocking around in this one. It’s hard to read it all because they are all so unexposed.

But the form of FINEST SOUND who has just looked so impressive recently just shades it for us. He’s a worthy favourite here to give some support to at 13/8 in Bet365 Mile Handicap betting* (betting odds taken from Boylesports at 20:04 GMT on Friday 10th July 2020).

We definitely are interested in the current form of HAQEEQY after a recent score at the venue and ESTABLISH, one of the best travellers in this field, showed some really good grit to dig out a win at Bath under pressure.
