This is a Fillies’ Group 2 Class 1 fixture which is only open to 2 year olds.

Zabeel Queen is the 6/4 FAV for May Hill Stakes
There is a big challenge expected from ZABEEL QUEEN in this fixture after an impressive debut.
She got off the mark at the first time of asking in a novice effort at Ascot, 47 days ago. She saw off a pretty good field in that as well.
So there should be further improvement coming from her and she looks good enough to handle this big step up in grade.
That having been said, even though this is a Grade 2 race, it is not as strong as a field as has turned out for recent renewals.

Also scoring on her debut was INDIGO GIRL who put in a powerful finish to claim the win at Yarmouth.
She looked very comfortable throughout, working her way into the race and then just stepping on the gas.

Dubai Fountain to get in the frame?
It hasn’t been a bad start to the career of DUBAI FOUNTAIN who won her first two racetrack appearances.
She has had a further three runs since there and hasn’t quite been able to add to her tally of scores.
But she looks to be the consistent sort and very quietly has been coming along nicely against better company.
Dubai Fountain also looks to be a good fit coming up in trip as well and she lines up as an 11/4 option
Ubuntu to make further progress
It will be a third racetrack appearance for UBUNTU as she is likely to be a big player in the May Hill Stakes as well.
She opened with a reasonable debut and then really took her form forward as claimed third at the Flame Of Tara Stakes at Curragh a couple of weeks ago.

Can Lilac Road do it again at course and distance?
LILAC ROAD brings course and distance success to the table. On her debut, she produced nothing too much to get excited about, but then really shone over course and distance last time out.
She got that score courtesy of some bold running from the front and that was 26 days ago.
So the form is there, but this is a tough one for her against some much better opponents. But she’s respected at 8/1* (betting odds taken from Bet365 at 23:35 GMT on Wednesday, 9th September).
The rest of the runners
GREAT VIBES has made progress in each of her three runs so far, culminating in a win at Newmarket just under a month ago. So she is on an upward curve but this is a big step up in grade.
MERE GREEN is a four-race maiden. The pick of her runs was 5th of 8 at the Rose Bowl Stakes, a Listed fixture at Newbury. But she hasn’t been anywhere near that kind of level since.
PRADO scored an easy debut win at Salisbury and then scored a runner up spot at the Prestige Stakes twelve days ago at Goodwood. She may struggle against some of the company in this one.
STAR OF EMARAATY has won two of her last three runs and has a little more racetrack experience than most. This will be her sixth appearance.
She comfortably beat Dubai Fountain in the Sweet Solera Stakes at Newmarket last time out and can’t be counted out of this.
Predictions & Tips for May Hill Stakes Racing Odds
We would be happy to throw a little consideration towards STAR OF EMARAATY after her 66/1 win.
That was not a fluke win in taking down Dubai Fountain in that one and she has to warrant a bit of each way appeal at 12/1* (betting odds taken from Bet365 at 23:35 GMT on Wednesday, 9th September).
ZABEEL QUEEN should lay down plenty of progress at the head of the field after such an impressive debut on the board.
We would also have to lean towards INDIGO GIRL to be a big player in the contest as she also looks to have leading claims after a fantastic debut.
