If the horse racing odds run true to form then this could be a routine victory for HUKUM on Saturday at Newbury.

The last time that any runner above the age of six won the Geoffrey Freer Stakes was in 2007 when 7-year-old Mubahtaker scored.

Rodridgo Diaz brings solid form
RODRIGO DIAZ went off as the favourite on his last run, which was a month ago here at Newbury.
He was a close second by half a length to Scaramanga in a rich contest. That was on a longer 2m trip and having a little distance trimmed here could see him pose a threat.
Rodrigo Diaz has been in the top three in each of his last six runs and he has won four times between 1m 3f to 1m 6f in similar conditions.
He was a winner at a 12f distance in Doncaster in early June in a smaller field. There is enough in his current form to have a place finish firmly in mind.

PABLO ESCOBARR was last seen at Group 3 in the Glorious Stakes at Goodwood on a slightly shorter trip last month.
That was 15 days ago and hasn’t gotten a score on the board this season from four runs. Place claims exist, but others are slightly more persuasive.
SLEEPING LION was a fair way behind Scaramanga here on a 2m trip last month. He also had Rodrigo Diaz well ahead of him on that trip.
Sleeping Lion took a win on his reappearance, and needs more.
WITHOUT A FIGHT was in a winning mood last campaign, but since his reappearance, he hasn’t gotten one on the board.
He was fourth in the Group 3 Glorious Stakes at Goodwood last month. He’s another who may have too much to find.
RECOVERY RUN falls into that positive trend of being a 3 year old. But he was only the third last time out in action in a Goodwood handicap.
He will need to make a big step forward for Andrew Balding to get heavily involved.
