Wild Beauty 9/4 FAV in Newbury Fred Darling Racing Odds

A bold run is expected at Newbury on Saturday from 9/4 FAV WILD BEAUTY* (odds recorded at 21:38 GMT on April 15th 2022 at Paddy Power).

There was a lot to like about her juvenile season, racking up some wins including a Grade 1 score across the waters in Canada.

She took down the subsequent Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf winner in that one.

Wild Beauty does have question marks about her UK form, however.

It hasn’t been as hot as what she has produced out on the road.

But there was a credible run by Wild Beauty in the Fillies’ Mile at Newmarket at the end of the previous campaign in which she took fifth.

Jumbly poses a threat

JUMBLY has a course and distance win under her belt from last October when she took the Radley Stakes.

It has been impressive stuff most of the way for her, winning three of her four races as a juvenile.

For the one race that Jumbly didn’t score in, the track at Newmarket in the Rockfel got the better of her.

Jumbly is bred well and the quicker ground that faces her on Saturday is not likely to be a big problem.

There is a quote of 7/2 on the win for Jumbly in Fred Darling Stakes odds* (odds recorded at 21:38 GMT on April 15th 2022 at Paddy Power).

Can Shaara mount a big enough challenge?

SHAARA is worth consideration as well after winning her one previous effort.

That debut happened at Yarmouth in October.

She hadn’t lined up in that one as the leading contender for her yard, but she showed up her stablemates with a fine run.

Shaara is in great hands and if that debut is a true indicator of her potential, she’s interesting for Saturday.

Shaara is a quote of 8/1 in Dubai Duty Free Stakes racing odds* (odds recorded at 21:38 GMT on April 15th 2022 at Paddy Power).

Majestic Glory needs a revival

MAJESTIC GLORY will have some questions to answer here on the weekend after seeing her form slip back a little bit.

She won a couple of races last summer, including an excellent score over Wild Beauty at Newmarket in the Sweet Solera.

Her follow up in the Rockfel at the same venue was poor.

A last place finish in the Fillies’ Mile in October saw her go backwards further.

Majestic Glory, a 7/1 contender, has the clear ability and just needs to rediscover form* (odds recorded at 21:38 GMT on April 15th 2022 at Paddy Power).

Rest of the Runners

ADELAISE won 45 days ago in a 7f Kempton Novice. That was an excellent run under her belt, but she will need even more to get in this.

BARBANERA showed some good promise last term. There was a win at York on her second appearance. A third to Symphony Perfect at Newmarket in a Listed contest last time out piques interest.

BENEFIT won her first two appearances as a juvenile, including a win for Symphony Perfect. But she was badly defeated by that same rival on her follow up at Newmarket.

EVE LODGE has some good pieces of form in her record, including a win over subsequent Group2 winner. Consistently has been lacking from her game overall, however.

HEAT OF THE MOMENT won her debut at Yarmouth on a 6f trip. There’s not too much to take away from that form, but she’s not to be counted out.

MISS CAROL ANN won her debut well. Softer ground completely tripped her up on her follow up and can’t be dismissed in better conditions.

NAZANIN won two of her four efforts last season including taking a score here at Newbury on her debut. This trip could see her go well.

Predictions & Tips for Newbury Fred Darling Racing Odds

This perhaps isn’t the strongest of Fred Darling renewals. JUMBLY is the top selection at 7/2* (odds recorded at 21:38 GMT on April 15th 2022 at Paddy Power).

There is just nothing wrong with the form that she produced the last term, and a Listed C&D win clearly marks her as a danger in this one.

SHAARA is unexposed but she looks like she had a good amount of ability on her winning debut appearance.

From a top yard, Shaara is an 8/1 contender* (odds recorded at 21:38 GMT on April 15th 2022 at Paddy Power).

One final shortlisted one is NAZANIN who found herself in some winning form last season. There was a big improvement for her win on her final run of the previous campaign.

Nazanin fills out the tips at a quote of 9/1* (odds recorded at 21:38 GMT on April 15th 2022 at Paddy Power).
