Art Power the 10/3 FAV in Duke Of York Racing Odds

More will be expected of ART POWER as he makes his debut as a 4-year-old on Wednesday.

There was a good improvement from him last season and he put in a couple of excellent efforts at the end of the campaign.

He went close at the top levels in the Sprint Cup and Champions Sprint, enough hints there that he could seriously push on.

It will be interesting to see if he settles a little more this season.

Those Group 1 efforts last season keeps Art Power on the radar at 10/3 in Duke Of York racing odds* (odds recorded at 21:09 GMT on April 27th, 2021 at Paddy Power).

MOLATAHAM
11/1

Oxted poses a big threat in the Duke Of York

OXTED has every chance in this one. In the Duke Of York racing odds, he is a quote of 7/2* (odds recorded at 21:09 GMT on April 27th, 2021 at Paddy Power).

He collected the July Cup last year and he was last seen at the Abernant last month. He battled his way into the places in that contest.

It was a good response from him after having struggled at the Riyadh Dirt Sprint to open the season with. The track clearly didn’t suit him.

There will be question marks over Oxted.

Because in none of his follow up races has he lived up to the high standards he set in winning at Newmarket last year in the July Cup.

Oxted has something to prove, but can’t be written out of this one.

Summerghand arriving in top form

There has to be a lot of appeal on SUMMERGHAND in Duke Of York racing odds at 11/1* (odds recorded at 21:09 GMT on April 27th, 2021 at Paddy Power).

He is thriving at the moment having completed a double a month ago.

That was achieved with a score in the Abernant, getting the better of Oxted in the contest.

The 7-year-old has the experience and looks back to his best at the moment. He will be keeping the visor which has made a difference recently.

Starman to deliver on potential in Duke Of York Racing Odds?

An interesting contender in the race on Wednesday is going to be STARMAN, who won three of his four racetrack appearances so far.

Notably, one of those happened at course and distance in a listed event as he rattled off a hat trick last year.

There is plenty of potential still to come from him. There wasn’t a result for Starman in the Champions Sprint on his latest run.

But that can be excused because of the soft ground in play there.

Starman is not to be counted out of this at 5/1* (odds recorded at 21:09 GMT on April 27th, 2021 at Paddy Power).

Molatham makes his return

There are a few players in this field who could shine as a 4 year old.

MOLATHAM is one of those. He goes at a current 7/1 quote in Duke Of York racing odds for Wednesday* (odds recorded at 21:09 GMT on April 27th, 2021 at Paddy Power).

He looks plenty progressive enough and one of his best runs of the previous campaign was a third in the Park Stakes at Doncaster.

That was after a great score in the Jersey at Royal Ascot. Molatham was last seen in the Group 1 Queen Elizabeth II Stakes at Ascot over 1m.

That was in October last year and he didn’t make an impact in the fixture at the top level. This one looks to be well within his scope.

The rest of the runners

BRANDO was only in action 4 days ago putting in a decent run to claim second place at Haydock. That was in heavy conditions. This looks tough for him on a quick turnaround.

EMARAATY AANA could be a good outside each-way pick. 11 days ago he was third in the Palace House, not far off the winner. He could be interesting coming up on a trip.

NAHAARR could benefit from a return run at Chelmsford in March. There was a fourth-place there for him. He was going well at the back end of last season and with the rust running off, could have a say.

VENTURA REBEL earned a win on his last run, which was in the Group 3 Renaissance Stakes last summer. Will he be back to that kind of level straight out of the gate?

FINAL SONG has had a busy time of things already this year. He was runner up in a Group 1 at Meydan a month and a half ago. She looked better for being dropped back to sprinting.

LADY IN FRANCE hasn’t been seen since last summer. She was solid enough and scored here on her debut in August. Nothing too specular came in her follow-ups, however.

QUEEN JO JO was well held in her latest outing which was last summer. She did get a Group 3 victory in the Summer Stakes last year. This one looks like a tough task.

Predictions & Tips for Duke Of York Racing Odds

We would be happy to have a run at SUMMERGHAND taking the win in this one.

He is thriving at the moment and after that Abernant, he should enter the fray as a good 11/1 contender* (odds recorded at 21:09 GMT on April 27th, 2021 at Paddy Power).

We think that MOLATHAM has plenty to offer here after a Group 1 run at Ascot on his latest venture. There were progressive runs from him last year.

The final selection will be EMARAATY ANA who looks a tad undervalued in this one as a 20/1 each-way shot* (odds recorded at 21:09 GMT on April 27th, 2021 at Paddy Power).

He is match fit and went very well in the Palace House at Newmarket recently.
