Protektorat 10/3 FAV in Aintree Betway Bowl Chase Racing Odds

One of the big players lining up in this year’s renewal of the Betway Bowl Chase is PROTEKTORAT.

He is a current quote of 10/3 in the Betway Bowl Chase odds* (odds recorded at 20:11 GMT on April 6th, 2021 at Betway).

Protektorat won on the opening day of last year’s Aintree Grand National Festival and he has since added another win at the venue.

That was in the Grade 2 Many Clouds in December. Protektorat won that convincingly when bolting up.

This is the first run for Protektorat since his excellent third in the Cheltenham Gold Cup.

That was a tough run at the Cheltenham Festival, is this race a little too soon?

CONFLATED
9/2

Betway

Kemboy with big claims

2019 winner KEMBOY looks to be in with a reasonable shout at 5/1* (odds recorded at 20:11 GMT on April 6th, 2021 at Betway).

Unlike some of those he will be up against on Thursday, Kemboy is nice and refreshed.

He was last seen a couple of months ago after missing the Cheltenham Festival.

He was only fifth at Leopardstown in unsuitable conditions underfoot in the Irish Gold Cup last time out.

Looking back to that same venue at Christmas, he was a close third behind 2022 Cheltenham Gold Cup winner A Plus Tard in the Savills Chase.

Kemboy does have some nice form that which potentially gives him a chance.

Conflated ready for a revival?

CONFLATED was travelling well at the Cheltenham Festival last month. He was on course for a runner up spot in the Ryanair.

But he went down a couple from home.

Like Eldorado Allen and Protektorat, there has not been a lot of recovery time since then for him.

That miss in the Ryanair saw Conflated also miss out on a hat-trick chance.

Before going to the Cheltenham Festival, Conflated had landed the Irish Gold Cup at Leopardstown.

There’s a longer trip on offer for Conflated on Thursday.

That could give him a very nice chance from a quote of 5/1* (odds recorded at 20:11 GMT on April 6th, 2021 at Betway).

Eldorado Allen could kick on

There was a lot to like about the game approach that ELDORADO ALLEN produced at Ryanair Chase.

He boldly had a go at the superb Allaho in the fixture.

The win didn’t happen for Eldorado Allen, but there was an excellent third-place finish nonetheless.

This season Eldorado Allen has taken his form forward big time.

Eldorado Allen is a quote of 11/2 for the win on Thursday* (odds recorded at 20:11 GMT on April 6th, 2021 at Betway).

There was a victory in the Haldon Gold Cup by him and then at the Grade 2 Denman Chase.

He’s not out of this, but again, with Cheltenham not very far behind him, how refreshed will he be?

Can Clan Des Obeaux retain the prize?

For last year’s renewal, Clan Des Obeaux was expected to get himself heavily involved.

He did, storming the field to land the win.

He’s not out of the picture in Betway Bowl Chase tips for the 2022 renewal at all.

Clan Des Obeaux receives the blinkers for the first time and there’s been good form this season.

A runner up spot in the King George VI Chase shows that he retains plenty of ability.

He didn’t go well at Newbury on his latest, which explains the blinkers.

Clan Des Obeaux has a win and two place finishes from three previous runs at Aintree.

He’s a top-class chaser still and at 9/2 could have claims* (odds recorded at 20:11 GMT on April 6th, 2021 at Betway).

The Rest of the runners for Betway Bowl Tips

ROYALE PAGAILLE is capable, but this may be a test of stamina that is a little beyond him. He steps back into action after a 5th in this year’s Gold Cup. Royale Pagaille was a winner at Haydock in the Peter Marsh earlier this season from a big weight.

BRISTOL DE MAI keeps on chugging along but failed to win this race from three attempts in his prime. The 11 year old has had a couple of good efforts this season in defeat and will keep running, but this may be beyond him.

ITCHY FEET was a Grade 1 novice winner but things haven’t quite clicked this season for him. He was poor in first-time blinkers at Kelso- last time out and this looks like a big ask.

Predictions & Tips for Aintree Betway Bowl Chase Tips

This is a fascinating contest and there are plenty of claims. The big variable looks to be the Cheltenham Festival.

Who has produced the best recovery since some big gruelling efforts there, which could get a contender in the winner’s circle at Aintree on Thursday?

Our first Betway Bowl Chase tip is going to be CONFLATED who was travelling well in the Ryanair.

Conflated is at 9/2 in horse racing betting odds* (odds recorded at 20:11 GMT on April 6th, 2021 at Betway).

The longer trip could be the key to him getting heavily involved on Thursday against some of these big rivals.

KEMBOY comes in fresh having skipped the Festival and looks as if he could be a player.

The former winner was behind Conflated earlier this season at Leopardstown.

But there’s no reason why he can’t make his presence felt from 5/1* (odds recorded at 20:11 GMT on April 6th, 2021 at Betway).

The final selection is ELDORADO ALLEN as long as there is no Cheltenham hangover.

Just his attitude in battling Allaho there was a thrill.

He hasn’t slowed his progress this season and can find more still to get involved at 6/1* (odds recorded at 20:11 GMT on April 6th, 2021 at Betway).
