Goshen the 15/8 favourite for Unibet International Hurdle

Heading up the market for this contest is GOSHEN at 15/8* (betting odds recorded at 19:24 GMT at Unibet on 12/11/20).

This will be his reappearance run for the season and will be looking to build on some hot progress from last term.

After winning his first three goes over the hurdles, a slight mistake in the Triumph at the Cheltenham Festival in March saw him miss out on four straight wins.

The Triumph is a course and distance run.

Goshen has been sent out on the flat a couple of times during the autumn to sharpen him up.

He didn’t win either of those, but he looks a ready made hurdler with a top jumping future.

He’s clearly one to watch and he will no doubt be back at the Cheltenham Festival next year.

Can Sceau Royal continue to thrive back over hurdles?

There has been such a smart move from SCEAU ROYAL’s connections this season to send him out over the hurdles.

He has been thriving and has taken on a new lease of life. Sceau Royal was last seen in the Fighting Fifth where he gave Epatante a big run for his money.

It was a second-place in that for Sceau Royal to the reigning Champion Hurdler, but it leaves the former in such good stead at the moment.

That saw him miss out on a hat-trick for this season having taken the Welsh Champion and then the Elite at Wincanton.

Sceau Royal has every chance in this for Alan King and is a 13/2 contender* (betting odds recorded at 19:24 GMT at Unibet on 12/11/20).

Song For Someone to bring a bold bid

SONG FOR SOMEONE opened the new season with a victory. He went in a Grade 2 at Ascot over a 19f trip and scored in that one.

He had the better of Call Me Lord by five lengths as well. So that was a cracking start to the season for him.

Song For Someone was really coming along in the hurdles sphere last season and there is still more to come from him.

He warrants respect on this Cheltenham trip at 4/1* (betting odds recorded at 19:24 GMT at Unibet on 12/11/20).

Will Call Me Lord land the Itneriantal Hurdle again?

Last year’s winner of this race was CALL ME LORD, who under Nicky Henderson is back for another assault.

Right off the bat though, this looks to be a much stronger field than last year’s renewal.

But still, Call Me Lord held off both Ballyandy and Ch’tibello 12 months ago.

He has had a couple of runs for the new campaign, neither of which yielded a win for him. But they were credible efforts to build on.

The latest saw Call Me Lord take a second place finish in the Grade 2 Coral Hurdle at Ascot last month.

Place claims are surely there, win purposes perhaps not as much from a long 22/1* (betting odds recorded at 19:24 GMT at Unibet on 12/11/20).

Ch’tibello to be back in the frame?

After getting a place finish in last year’s renewal there will be renewed hope for CH’TIBELLO twelve months on.

It was a third place finish that he got under his belt last season.

He had undergone wind surgery before making his reappearance last month at Aintree.

He was beaten by Summerville Boy in that contest over a 2m 4f trip.

Ch’tibello is a former course and distance winner, getting that score last year at the Cheltenham Festival.

That solid reappearance run will have shaped him enough to see him get close from 8/1 and he has the most appeal of last season’s returning top-three* (betting odds recorded at 19:24 GMT at Unibet on 12/11/20).

Others to note

BALLYANDY, who was in the places last year, returns to action. He has taken back to back second-place finishes this season.

Ballyandy is a reliable sort when he comes to play at Cheltenham, but we feel in a strong field that he’s not there in terms of the win.

SUMMERVILLE BOY took a win on his reappearance at Aintree and then followed up with a Grade 2 fourth at Newbury on a longer 3m trip.

So he takes a drop in trip which should offer him a little more.

STORMY IRELAND has banked the runner-up spot on her two efforts this season.

She is a great mate but hasn’t quite hit top gear just yet. But not worth dismissing in terms of place claims if she delivers her best on the day.

VERDANA BLUE is in a similar position to STORMY IRELAND. She’s not been at her sharpest either coming back to the hurdles.

She did have a couple of nice runs on the flat in the summer but appears to have something to find for the season over the jumps.

SILVER STREAK carried out on his last run which was in the Fighting Fifth.

That was after looking his usual sharp self in scoring on his reappearance at Kempton.

He has a bit of form in this, scoring second place in 2018. Silver Streak could have a say from 13/2* (betting odds recorded at 19:24 GMT at Unibet on 12/11/20).

Predictions & Tips for Unibet International Hurdle Racing Odds

This is a deeper field than last year’s renewal and it is a fascinating one.

We do think that GOSHEN has a good chance here as the 15/8 favourite* (betting odds recorded at 19:24 GMT at Unibet on 12/11/20)

His Cheltenham Festival effort ended in disaster, but despite what happened at the last, he was in prime shape to score a win.

Goshen retains so much potential that he has to be on the shortlist.

We also have to stay with SCEAU ROYAL who is thriving over the fences at the moment.

He put in such a brave run for second place at the Fighting Fifth that he is worth revisiting.

The final selection for the Unibet Intebrionataol Hurdle is last year’s third place finisher CH’TIBELLO.

We like the effort that he produced at Aintree on his reappearance and should be sharp back in familiar surroundings.
