Not That Fuisse heads up the Hill house Quarry Handicap Chase odds

NOT THAT FUISSE is the current 13/8 favourite for this handicap from Ayr* (odds recorded at 22:59 GMT on April 15th, 2021 at Betfair)

There was a win for him on his penultimate run for David Skelton when he scored in February in a jumpers bumper.

He is a pretty useful chaser and he was last seen a month ago when he claimed a fifth-place finish in March’s Grand Annual.

It was not the most convincing of runs, which perhaps casts a little shadow on him in this one.

But he has won at 2m 4f before and is likely to feature if there is a solid bounce-back effort.

Schiehallion Munro

Schiehallion Munro is the tip

We are going with SCHIEHALLION MUNRO as our horse racing tip for the Hillhouse Quarry Handicap Chase.

He is a quote of 5/2 for the win* (odds recorded at 22:59 GMT on April 15th, 2021 at Betfair).

It has been a hattrick of second-place finishes for him in his latest form so he has been knocking on the door.

He wouldn’t be winning out of turn if he was to claim the victory in the fixture.

He was in top form last term and Schiehllaion Munro doesn’t look too far away from getting off the mark this year.

With Brian Hughes in the saddle, he could get to the front and take charge from them.

The others will be foolish to let him get on with things in his own way.

Theinval could thrive in the conditions

Nicky Henderson’s veteran THEINVAL is not quite the old force of old at all. He did win here three years ago if that counts for much.

But he is back fresh after a couple of months away from the action.

The conditions are likely going to be the big factor in his chances in this one.

They are favourable for him, so place claims may be a reasonable assumption of his chances. He’s fresh too and he will be looking to put his best foot forward.

Theinval is a quote of 5/1 to get the score* (odds recorded at 22:59 GMT on April 15th, 2021 at Betfair).

Nietzsche not to be written off

A trip to the Cheltenham Festival in the Ultima ended in disappointment for NIETZCHE but he is not to be written off.

He is versatile enough to handle the conditions here and he delivered some good palace finishes over the winter in his sphere.

This looks like much calmer waters for him to try his hand at than what he faced in the Ultima in which he finished 8th of 16.

Nietzche hasn’t won at more than 2m 3f before, but he does appear to be the best of the rest in this fixture, especially coming in at bottom weight.

Nietzche is a current quote of 4/1 in the Hillhouse Quarry Handicap Chase betting* (odds recorded at 22:59 GMT on April 15th, 2021 at Betfair).

Barton Knoll

There has been a victory this season for BARTON KNOLL, scoring at Doncaster in a handicap back in November.

He is a quote of 6/1 to pick up a victory in this one* (odds recorded at 22:59 GMT on April 15th, 2021 at Betfair).

He has followed up decently enough in his two follow up-efforts without having gotten in the frame in either.

Barton Knoll was last seen at Haydock a couple of weeks ago when he was fourth.

A better jumping performance could have seen a higher finish.

Voix Du Reve with too much to find?

The outsider in this handicap contest is VOIX DU REVE who looks as if he has a lot to find.

He took back to back second-place finishes in a couple of efforts earlier this season. That was on his first couple of hurdles.

A poor jumping performance then in the Morebattle Hurdle saw him fail to make any impact whatsoever.

This is easier but Voix Du Reve still has a lot to find.

Predictions & Tips for Hillhouse Quarry Handicap Chase Racing Odds

We are passing over the current favourite in favour of SCHIEHALLION MUNRO at 5/2* (odds recorded at 22:59 GMT on April 15th, 2021 at Betfair).

He has been in the frame in each of his last three efforts and is not going to be winning out of turn. We think he can get that win above NOT THAT FUISSE.

The latter selection is good enough to have a strong say in this one, but he wasn’t great on his latest effort.

The other obvious pick for us in this one is NIETZCHE whose misfire in the Ultima at the Cheltenham Festival can be looked over.
