As a three year old he took back to back second places to start with and then broke his maiden at Haydock a couple of weeks ago. He was really stepping on it at the finish.

Mister Snowdown to challenge?
MISTER SNOWNDON made a blistering start to his career by winning his first two racetrack appearances.
For his handicap debut he was out at Yarmouth just under three weeks ago and ran brilliantly to claim second there.

Experience to favour King Ragnar?
KING RAGNAR has had six racetrack appearances under his belt, so has a little more experience than some of those already mentioned.
He has gotten better and better as well since returning to action. He scored on his last effort at Leicester two weeks ago in a weaker contest than this.

Corvair promising after gelding operation
CORVAIR has been gelded since his last run and just before going away for that he took fourth in a nicely controlled effort at Pontefract over 6f.

Rest of the runners
FLEETING PRINCE is the worst off in the handicap here. He has been in Listed action since coming back into action, but some decent efforts have pushed him up in the weight.
TOMFRE couldn’t find top form at the Bunbury Cup at Newmarket on his last run, finishing well down the field. He is a former course and distance winner however, but yet to really kick on as a 3 year old.
MANIGORDO scored a win on his return to action, claiming a Sandown 7f contest. But then he didn’t look right on his handicap debut to follow that.
HOMESPIN’S reappearance wasn’t great, taking 9th at Newmarket in June. He did score a couple of times at 6f last summer, but this looks to be a bit beyond him.
