Jellystone favourite for handicap contest
There is going to be a need for a bit of a step up in improvement for JELLYSTONE. That is because he is carrying a big 6lb penalty for having dominated a race at Yarmouth last week.
On Thursday he led from start to finish on an eleven and a half furlong trip. But it was such a good run that the lightly worked gelding has to be a threat coming back out so soon.

Colonize can contend
There was a solid juvenile campaign from COLONIZE who took a sixth place finish in his first outing. He stepped it up from there to claim a win in a field of 13 at minor events. That was on the all-weather at Chelmsford City.

Can Finely Tuned mount a challenge?
With a bit of handicapping on his side, FINELY TUNED may be able to make his presence felt in this field. He is coming up on trip here for his handicap debut.

Kommodity Kid looks for a double
Another winner on his last outing was KOMMODITY KID. That was in a run at Lingfield in early March over a 10f trip. It has been a busy year for him, having all had all three racetrack appearances in this calendar year. Caledonian Crusade bottom of the weights
Will the handicapping help the Caledonian Crusade? He hasn’t made it into the places from any of his three runs in his juvenile campaign. He will be wearing a hood for the first time. This will be a handicap debut and could be a little out of touch.
