Greenbrier Classic Betting Info
It is off to the Old White TPC this week for the Greenbrier Classic betting and it is a par 70 challenge. It is a steady challenge for most, not too difficult, not too easy and there isn’t a lot of punishment for anyone getting off line too much from the tee. There should be some low scoring around this week, especially with some great options at the top of the betting list.

Greenbrier Classic Betting Favourite
Big Phil Mickelson is the leader this week for the golf betting odds on the PGA Tour. Came oh-so close again to getting his hands on that elusive US Open title recently. He has been on a break since then so he should be pretty fresh. That was his second T2 finish in a row, and his third top three finish in his last four outings. Pretty strong form and you can’t argue with it. He has nailed five top ten finished from 13 events this season. Questions marks over his tournament record though, failing to make the cut in his last two appearances there. Phil Mickelson is 14/1 favourite at online betting Bet Victor.

Other Contenders
Bill Haas hit top form last week as he powered his way to the title at the AT&T National while others were struggling. He went under par in all four of his rounds as well. That was his seventh top ten finish of the season and is just looking to be humming along at the moment. Leads the PGA for scoring on par 4’s and around the greens his work has been brilliant lately. Oh, and he finished second at The Greenbrier classic in 2011.

Webb Simpson will be taking a lot of heavy backing this week as well, or at least he should be. Has carded four top ten finishes this season, but it his form at the Old White TPC that is reason to really back him. He has landed top tens in the last two seasons and so should be a good fit, with his form at the Travelers recently. Definitely on the up after a slow start to the season.

Another man hitting top stride at the moment is Graham Delaet. He has taken two top ten finishes in his last two starts and that means he is trending. He also went pretty well here last season, taking a share of 12th and he has never been over par for a tournament at The Old White TPC. He is the current leader on the PGA for Greens in Regulation too, so he should at least be in the mix for a top ten finish.

Two names which are going to attract some interest as well are going to be Bubba Watson and Billy Horschel. Horschel has been hot this season, but did misfire a little bit in his last outing at the AT&T National. He just didn’t get his game going and he hasn’t been inside the top thirty at the Greenbrier either, but the AT&T National result could have just been a blip. Watson is in form after a T4 at the Travelers. People associate just big hitting with Bubba but he is fourth on the PGA for greens in regulation, so he has the iron work to fit here.

Best Outside Bet
Perhaps not so much of an outsider really, but Jordan Spieth could be worth watching, perhaps for a top ten finish. This is his first crack at The Greenbrier, so that will be a disadvantage, but he he goes into it full of confidence after a sixth at Congressional which was hit fifth of the season. Immensely talented youngster and if you throw confidence on top of that, then there could be value in him. Spieth is trading at price of 11/4 with Bet Victor for a top ten finish.
