Well in terms of looking for value, it has to be John Higgins. He won the World Championship for the fourth time in his career in 2011, beating Judd Trump in the final. He claimed just one ranking title in 2012, the Shanghai Masters and hasn’t gotten his hands on one in 2013. He is a proven winner of the event of course and that may make him a threat. He could line up against O’Sullivan in the quarter finals, which would be a fascinating clash.
