Leicester City v Chelsea

Chelsea targeting Cup success

Because Chelsea’s Champions League campaign already looks over after following 3-0 home loss against Bayern Munich in the first leg of their round of sixteen tie, their only realistic shot at silverware this season is in the FA Cup.

Frank Lampard took things seriously on Tuesday by sending out a strong side to take on Liverpool at Stamford bridge.

It paid off as Chelsea collected a 2-0 win thanks to goals from Ross Barkley and Willian. Chelsea are 8/1 second-favourites but face a tough trip to Leicester in the quarter-finals.

The Foxes got through after a 1-0 success against Championship side Birmingham.

Norwich make QFs for the first time since early 90s

Norwich are through to the final eight for the first time since 1992.

They got there with a penalty shootout success over Tottenham on Wednesday evening.

Manchester United and Championship side Derby will meet on Thursday night to determine who meets Norwich in the final eight.

FA Cup record-holders Arsenal, who have won the title a total of 13 times in their history, will face a tricky test at Bramall Lane against Sheffield United in the quarter-finals.

The Gunners made it past League One side Portsmouth on Monday to book their place, while the Blades needed extra time to claim an away win at Reading.

Quarter Final Dates

The next round of the FA Cup moves back to the more familiar setting of the weekend. Matches are due to be played on March 21st and 22nd.
