The Premier League Top Goalscorer betting market at William Hill has been heated up by some notable transfers during the summer. Romelu Lukaku was shipped off to Manchester United for a hefty sum of money from Everton, while Arsenal landed themselves a huge coup in singing hotshot Alexandre Lacazette, while Chelsea set a new club record to bring in Spain’s Alvaro Morata. That’s not to mention the usual candidates in the market like Harry Kane and Sergio Aguero of course.

Premier League Golden Boot Odds

Harry Kane 3/1, Romelu Lukaku 4/1, Sergio Aguero 6/1, Gabriel Jesus 7/1, Alvaro Morata 8/1, Alexandre Lacazette 10/1, Alexis Sanchez 12/1, Diego Costa 14/1, Marcus Rashford 33/1, Daniel Sturridge 33/1, Eden Hazard 33/1, Jamie Vardy 33/1, bar 40/1

Harry Kane 3/1

Well, the Tottenham man proved that he wasn’t a one season wonder with another fantastic goal haul to land him the Golden Boot for the second season running in the English top flight. Kane bagged himself 35 goals across all competitions for the Lilywhites last term and that is 94 goals that Kane has netted now in the last three seasons. Obviously, Spurs are going to hold onto their prize asset over the summer and punters will recognise the proven goalscorer output from him.

Romelu Lukaku 4/1

When you have a £75m price tag on your head you had better step up and perform. That is the pressure on Romelu Lukaku after his big money transfer to Manchester United and he comes in at 4/1 with William Hill to win the Golden Boot for the forthcoming season. He netted 25 league goals for Everton in the last campaign and it will be expected that he ups his output in being surrounded by the likes of Paul Pogba and Henrikh Mkhitaryan this season. Will the big Belgium be the hit at Old Trafford and more than fill Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s sizeable boots?

Sergio Aguero 6/1

With rumours that Chelsea being interested in Aguero quashed with the London club having signed Alvaro Morata, Aguero will be sticking around at the Etihad and producing the goals for the club. He is proven quality and but there is always those issues of injury with him, yet still he breached the 20 goal mark last season with his problems. If Pep Guardiola has managed to shape his squad a little better, then Aguero will be up there, but one of his main threats to a solid season could come from the form of teammate Gabriel Jesus.

Gabriel Jesus 7/1

Just about everything that the young Brazilian touched last season turned to goals. He managed to net seven goals from his ten appearances for Manchester City last season and if gets off to a flying start then he could well keep Aguero out of the lineup. This is a special lad and the short price on him to land the Golden Boot ahead of Lacazette and Morata says a lot.

Alvaro Morata 8/1

The new Chelsea man will have some pressure on him but he has proven himself around Europe with both Juventus and Real Madrid. Morata is a very intelligent player and right there in the mould of Antonio Conte’s style. Last season at Real Madrid, even though starts were rare for him, he managed to net 15 goals in 26 appearances for them. He could have some impact in his debut season in the Premier League.

Alexandre Lacazette 10/1

Well, Arsenal dug deep into their pockets to shell out over £50 million for French star Alexandre Lacazette. He is quick, he is powerful and has a trick or two up his sleeve. Recognising that Olivier Giroud isn’t going to win you a league title, Arsene Wenger had to do something and the Frenchman scored 28 goals in 30 appearances in the French top flight last season. He scored on his debut for the club in a friendly. A typical Arsenal-style player, he will get himself among the goals.
