There are six declared runners for this year’s renewal of the famous races and it is LOVE who is heading up the horse racing betting market for it.

Love the 13/8 FAV in King George VI Stakes Odds

LOVE will hope to continue a winning streak as she steps into a very competitive renewal of King George VI.

She is a current quote of 13/8 to land the win on Saturday* (odds recorded at 19:35 GMT on July 23rd, 2021 at Coral).

With a win under her belt on her reappearance, she should be match fit. That victory was at Royal Ascot in claiming the Prince of Wales’s Stakes 38 days ago.

Last season she picked up the title in the 1000 Guineas, the Oaks and the Yorkshire Oaks and is now easily one of the top fillies around.

As long as the ground doesn’t soften, Love looks to have a great chance of making it four Group 1 wins in a row.

Can Adayar follow up on Epsom success?

We have Derby winner ADAYAR to look at next for the King George VI Stakes racing. He is a quote of 5/2 to win on Saturday* (odds recorded at 19:35 GMT on July 23rd, 2021 at Coral).

The son of Frankel picked up that Derby win by four and a half lengths, and it was a massive step forward in form from him.

Now he lines up with a shot at becoming the first horse since 2001 to land the Derby and King George double for a year. Galileo was the last to do that.

The form from the Derby has been franked. Third-placed finisher Hurricane Lane has since gone on to land Group 1 wins. Connections clearly think he has a big chance here.

It is only the second time in the last decade that the winner of the Derby has attempted the double by going to the King George in the same season.

Can Wonderful Tonight extend winning streak

WONDERFUL TONIGHT looks progressive still and she is bang in form at the moment. She rates as one to watch in this intriguing contest.

On her reappearance 35 days ago she picked up the Hardwicke, getting the better of Broome on the day there.

Wonderful Tonight would prefer the ground to ease up a bit, as that will give her a bigger chance.

Notably among her form is a course and distance win at Group 1 and is 6/1 to take this* (odds recorded at 19:35 GMT on July 23rd, 2021 at Coral)..

That was on Champions Day last October. With the win at the Hardwicke completing a hattrick for her in current form, if the weather’s right, she could have a say.

Mishriff carries a threat

There is from there to support the claims of MISHRIFF as well in the King George VI Stakes on Saturday.

It has been a big year for him, having taken the Saudi Cup and the Sheema Classic already. He was last seen seeking the completion of a hat trick as he went to the Eclipse.

That was on his return after three months off and he looked like he needed the run. Mishriff wasn’t his usual sharp self, but with that run under his belt, he is no forlorn hope.

There is a quote of 15/2 on the win for Mishriff at Ascot* (odds recorded at 19:35 GMT on July 23rd, 2021 at Coral).

Lone Eagle has enough to fight it out

LONE EAGLE almost picked up the win in the Irish Derby on his latest run. That was a month ago.

He was hanging on with everything that he had in the Group 1 before Hurricane Lane just reeled him in at the end.

But that was a fine effort and followed a Goodwood Listed victory. He has faced Adyar this season as well.

Lone Eagle was against him at Sandown and was fourth lengths behind that rival. But he looks to have come a long way since then.

Another plus for Lone Eagle is that he has last year’s winning jockey Frankie Dettori booked for Saturday.

He is interesting from 6/1 in horse racing betting* (odds recorded at 19:35 GMT on July 23rd, 2021 at Coral).

Can Broome make any impact

BROOME has won four of his last six runs, including his latest. Three of those were in Ireland during the Spring.

On his penultimate run, Broome went to the Hardwicke at course and distance and ran a blinder.

It was a second-place finish to Wonderful Tonight in that one.

But then there was a big follow up from Broome. He claimed his first Group 1 victory in France three weeks ago.

Broome is a big 20/1 outsider for this contest and it will interesting to see how he handles this extremely tough fixture* (odds recorded at 19:35 GMT on July 23rd, 2021 at Coral).

Predictions & Tips for King George VI Stakes Racing Odds

This is a cracking line up and it is wide open. As long as the rain doesn’t come along then LOVE should have a big say in this.

She has developed into a high-class filly but the conditions could need to be right for her, but there are clear claims at 13/8 racing odds* (odds recorded at 19:35 GMT on July 23rd, 2021 at Coral).

ADAYAR has been sent to this by Charlie Appleby with big hopes. The win at the Derby was so highly impressive but was it out of the blue as he was beaten a couple of times in trials before that.

The other for the shortlist is WONDERFUL TONIGHT who has a course and distance Group 1 success.

There could be thunderstorms around on Saturday and that gives her a big, big chance and makes it as our tip at 6/1* (odds recorded at 19:35 GMT on July 23rd, 2021 at Coral).
