Race Favourite

The race favourite for our first Ascot race in this preview is LABEEBB at 5/2* (betting odds taken from Bet365 at 23:37 GMT on Thursday, 3rd September 2020).

He is on a hattrick at the moment and looks to be getting better and better with each run.

His two scores have been since he switched over the turf and he produced a really powerful finish on his last run at Windsor.

He does look to be a top prospect and goes for an in -form yard as he looks to get the better of more experienced handicappers.

UK Racing Odds & Tips

LOOK CLOSELY enjoys a trip at Ascot and he is also sitting on a hattrick.

It has been course and distance wins in his last two runs, which sees him bring massive form and claims to the table.

He goes up another 3lb as he continues to excel and he did beat some decent company last time out. Look Closely is one to watch.

There could be a little more on offer from EMIRATES KNIGHT who put a credible fourth on the board last time out.

He had been the favourite for that trip and ran well, but just didn’t have enough. His stronger showings this season have been at Kempton but he remains an interesting player in this field.

Race Favourite

AL SALT should be a big player in this field and he goes as the 15/8 favourite* (betting odds taken from Bet365 at 23:37 GMT on Thursday, 3rd September 2020).

He was travelling superbly in his last run which was at Goodwood.

Al Salt collected third place there, missing out on the chance at a hat-trick.

The two wins were all-weather affairs, but he looks to have taken to the turf quite promisingly. The only thing that let him down at Goodwood was having no extra kick to finish with.

He should be bang in the frame on Friday in this contest and gets on the shortlist easily.

UK Racing Odds & Tips

Making a return from a break is TULFARRIS, who has been away for the best part of a year. He was over course and distance on his last run and he claimed a second place finish there.

That was the same result in his race prior to that as well. He’s a good, steady performer and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him back in the picture.

GROVE FERRY is an interesting entry for trainer Andrew Balding. He looks to have a bit more to give as well and won a couple of novice efforts last summer.

It has been handicap action from him this season, a couple of solid efforts there and there is something to build on following a 5th at Sandown in late August.

Race Favourite

It is TEMPUS who is the 2/1 favourite for the 16:50 at Ascot on Friday* (betting odds taken from Bet365 at 23:37 GMT on Thursday, 3rd September 2020).

The colt scored a good win at Newbury three weeks ago (following an intervention by the Stewards).

But he won a couple of times last season as well in minor events and there looks to be plenty of scope for further improvement.

Regardless of how he got the win last time it was still a big step forward in form from him. There are solid claims from him.

UK Racing Odds & Tips

CAP FRANCAIS rattled the crossbar last time out over course and distance in July. It was another big step forward from him after having scored on his return to action at Haydock.

He had a little misfire, but immediately hit back to top form as he found only Serendipity too good in that C&D effort.

GIN PALACE needs to be respected in this one as well. He was on top form on his return, posting back to back wins at Newbury and Newmarket.

On his last trip, he went at the 1m trip and produced another performance out of the top-drawer. He should be a player in this super-competitive handicap.

Race Favourite

Strap yourself in for a chaotic sprint in this one and for it we have joint 7/1 favourites in PUNCHBOWL FLYER and WHELANS WAY.

PUNCHBOWL FLYER stuck a win on the board on his last trip. That was a career-best effort from him, benefitting from the blinkers on for the first time.

That win happened at Chepstow 12 days ago. He is now 6lb higher but has to be a player in this field.

WHELANS WAY won at Newbury in July but hasn’t quite been the same in handling a rise since then. But making a return to 6f is likely to bring him into contention in this one and needs to be respected.

UK Racing Odds & Tips

TUSCAN OASIS has more improvement to come. Clive Cox’s filly looks in good shape and has delivered some excellent consistency.

This will be her fifth racetrack performance and she got off the mark at the third time of asking. She followed it up with another strong run to take second at Salisbury.

INTREPID ITALIAN has a little more experience than others in this field. He scored back to back wins in his first two handicap efforts and he has secured place finishes in his last two.

It’s been a very good season for him and has to be a big player in this field as well.

Race Favourite

We have DOUBLE OR BUBBLE as the 7/2 favourite for Race 8 at Ascot on Friday* (betting odds taken from Bet365 at 23:37 GMT on Thursday, 3rd September 2020).

She had a promising debut last year, and then on her return fulfilled some of that.

Double Or Bubble got a win at Sandown over a 7f trip just 33 days ago. She always looked comfortable for the win, with more to find if she had needed to.

This is her handicap debut now and there should be a big bold run from her.

UK Racing Odds & Tips

SUNSET BREEZE has won three of four runs this season, and looks to have had much more potential released since his gelding operation.

He missed out on his chance at a four-timer last time out, but he had excuses and this is a trip in his range.

DANCINGINTHEWOODS knocked on the door three weeks ago in a showing at Newmarket. He was well above the rest of the field in that one, taking a second-place finish.

He has taken a 3lb rise but still looks to have enough to lay down a serious challenge.

We are going to look at one more name in his field with INHALATION.

There has been good progress from him this season and showed a lot on scoring a win on his return in what was a Yarmouth handicap.

Was narrowly beaten last time out at Newbury and should go well once more.
