Having been relegated from League Two last season, Barnet have put a bit of cheer on this season by having this tremendous FA cup run. Considering that they are down in the bottom half of the National League, it is unlikely that they are going to be back in the top four tiers of English football next season. But they have made some major strides with this FA Cup run. Their campaign started with a replay victory over League One side Bristol Rovers in the first round, Barnet getting the victory in an away replay.
After knocking out Stockport in the second round, Barnet faced a tough task of going to Bramall Lane to face Championship promotion chasers Sheffield United.
