He has won before at Bath and looks to be on a good mark for this one, with Oisin Murphy in the saddle.

Zulu Zander has been in steady form in similar contests. His last run was 10 days ago at Windsor where he took a good fourth place finish there.

He doesn’t appear to be far away from a score and the booking of a top jockey stands out here.

So he has been knocking on the door recently and his last run was over course and distance 5 weeks ago. There’s plenty of advantage for him in the handicapping for this one.

Princely will however, will be looking for just his second career win in what will be his 24th start.

STORM AT DAWN looks promising for this one at 5/1* (betting odds taken from William Hill at 22:10 GMT on Wednesday, 5th August 2020).

This will be just her fourth racetrack appearance but has gotten stronger and stronger on each of those appearances. There is plenty of progress to likely come.

He went well there and suggests there could be more to come from him. Show Me The Bubbly has won at Bath before. He hasn’t won any of his last eleven trips but he looks to be one of the better sprinters in this pack and could end that winless streak.

PORT NOIR has a bit of winning form behind her and looks to have some big claims for this contest. She has won two of her last three runs, scoring on her last trip which was three weeks ago over course and distance.

GINNIANO will be entering just her fourth racetrack appearance. She is still a maiden but she looks to be quickly heading in the right direction under Charlie Hills.

This will be her handicapping debut and looks a fair mark. Coming back down to the 5f trip her pace could push her close.

The race favourite for this 1m handicap is ROBERT GUISCARD at 5/2* (betting odds taken from William Hill at 22:10 GMT on Wednesday, 5th August 2020).

He put in a great effort on his last trip, claiming second at Yarmouth over 1m almost breaking his maiden.

He will be retaining the blinkers from that and he could be a good shout to defy his 3lb rise. Robert Guiscard set the pace in his last race and if he brings the same kind of pace then he could unravel the challenges of those around him.

SOME PICTURE looks an appealing option as he comes into action with the cheek pieces on for the very first time. She gave a good account of herself on her last trip, claiming a fourth place finish.

She is still a maiden but has been lightly raced. It’s been steadily progressive form from her and that race was her first exposure to a 1m trip as well.

So there are big positives about her and Some Picture is a current 7/1 option* (betting odds taken from William Hill at 22:10 GMT on Wednesday, 5th August 2020)

The other that we will take a chance with is SILVER CLIFFS who is a three-race maiden. He was hampered a bit when landing sixth of 12 in a handicap at Sandown three weeks ago.

That was on his handicap debut and at a fair mark, he could get a better crack of the whip with a clear run.

Heading up the market for Race 6 on Thursday from Bath is OVERWRITE at 4/5 odds-on* (betting odds taken from William Hill at 22:10 GMT on Wednesday, 5th August 2020).

He scored just back in June at Windsor and he rattled the crossbar on his last effort as well. He was out on a 9f trip at Goodwood for his last run, less than a week ago.

It was a little too warm for him there but he collected a runner up spot there nonetheless. He brings massive claims to the table in this contest now.

There has also been some cracking form for CLEM A who is having his first run for a new yard here.

He has scored in two of his last three and left everything out on the track in collecting a 10-runner handicap success at Wolverhampton at nine and a half furlongs.

Clem A has been away for five months, but a return in that kind of form could see him challenge.

RENARDEU has scored once before at this distance from three previous attempts. He returned from a 124 day break in mid-July to finish well down the field in a 12f Kempton trip.

Prior to that he was in great form, including a second place to Omnivega in a step up to Class 3 back in March.

She has big claims here even though she missed out as the favorite on those two previous starts.

Rock Of Fame is sitting on a good mark however still and looks ripe for a score pretty soon. So her challenge cannot be dismissed in this small field.

LOVERS’ GAIT scored on her return to action. That makes her a threat in this one. That success came 19 days ago, importantly over course and distance.

It was easily her career best, but a long distance. Everything just suited her on the day, she will take on a 9lb rise in the ratings now.

The other pick for this race would be PRINCESS WAY who, despite some lowly finishes on her last couple of trips, has potential to get into the mix.

He was last seen three weeks ago at Chepstow, finishing down the field. This is a much easier race though.

Race favourite for the final of Thursday’s racing at Bath is LISMORE at 11/10* (betting odds taken from William Hill at 22:10 GMT on Wednesday, 5th August 2020).

She scored on her last effort which was at Chepstow less than a week ago. It was a facile victory really.

She gets a 6lb rise for that score but that may be balanced out by a step up in trip which looks like it is going to suit her well. Lismore should be competitive.

LORD WARBURTON has to pose a threat in this contest after having scored on his last run as well. That was a strike at Ripon over 12f three weeks ago.

He stayed on really well there and looked like a nice game runner. Lord Warburton gets a 4lb rise but like the favourite in this contest, the extra trip should suit.
