So that is a notable piece of form in the bank for Abstinence ahead of Wednesday’s contest.
Abstinence is low mileage and as a 3-year-old receives a lot of weight from the favourite.

Can Roseabad get in the frame?
ROSEABAD is going to be respected in the horse racing betting for this one as well as she has found a nice return to form recently.
Three races ago Rosebud delivered a comfortable score on a 14f trip at Carlisle in August. She has since followed up with a couple of credible efforts in defeat.
There was a third palace for her three weeks ago at Goodwood over this distance. Roseabad has the proven stamina to get herself heavily involved.

FLOWER OF SCOTLAND hasn’t been out of the top two in any of her five runs this season, claiming three wins.
She was a good second to Sea Sylph in a Goodwood handicap three weeks ago. This is tougher at this level for her.
PROPRIETY has to be worth a shot at this trip as she has taken some nice steps forward with her form this season. She was fifth on a move to Listed company at Ayr last time out.
VINDOLANDA may be worth changing again at this level. She was tried at Listed company at Chester last time out and was well held. But she has been running well off higher marks than her 81 rating when scoring at Ascot in the summer.

There has to be a chance for the low mileage 3-year-old ABSTINENCE in this one.
