Today’s boxing betting tips look at a big weekend of boxing coming up on Saturday.

The pick of the action seeing Joseph Parker and Derek ‘War’ Chisora go at it in the heavyweight division.

It’s three boxing tips that we have for Saturday’s action and among them will also be Josh Taylor v Jack Catterall.

We kick off with Del Boy’s big contest though, as he goes as a big underdog for this second fight against Parker.

Best Boxing Betting Tips Today: Joseph Parker v Derek Chisora

There is now beef between Derek Chisora and Joseph Parker as they get into this rematch duel.

The two met in May with Chisora coming out second best in the fight, which was surrounded by all sorts of pre-fight shenanigans from the British fighter.

That duel was for the then-vacant WBO Inter-continental heavyweight title, which is back on the line on Saturday.

Chisora lost against Parker by a split decision having started the fight strongly.

He put Parker to the canvas in the first round, but his opponent rallied over the second half of the fight.

Del Boy has now lost his last two fights and goes as the underdog to win this on the weekend.

The 37-year old’s best route to success in his fight is probably going to be through a stoppage.

But stopping Parker isn’t easy. The New Zealander knows his way around the ring and should have the legs to take this distance.

Parker has won his last five fights, culminating in that success over Chisora. He’ll likely stop the Brit again.

Boxing Betting Picks Today: Josh Taylor v Jack Catterall

Next for boxing betting for today we take a look at Josh Taylor v Jack Catterall.

Undisputed light-welterweight champion Josh Taylor puts all of his belts on the line on the weekend.

He goes up against Jack Catterall as he looks to defend his unbeaten career record.

There have been eighteen successful pro-fights from the Scotsman and he has looked in a class of his own in this division.

In his last fight, Taylor beat Jose Ramirez on points in Las Vegas in the summer, adding the WBC and WBO titles to the tally.

That’s the WBA (Super), WBC, IBF, WBO and The Ring light-welterweight titles that Taylor is defending on the weekend.

Jack Catterall also puts his undefeated pro-career record on the line in this one, winning all 26 fights.

He hasn’t fought since November last year however when he took points to win over France’s Abderrazak Houya.

Back in 2017 Catterall won the British light-welterweight title.

This just looks like being such a big ask however but it is a fight that looks as if it will go the distance.

Josh Taylor by Decision 8/11

Boxing Betting Tips for Today: Carlos Gongora v Lerrone Richards

Today’s Boxing betting tips features more British title interest on Saturday night on the undercard to Chirova v Parker.

Carlos Gongora will be defending his IBO super-middleweight title on the night against Lerrone Richard.

Ecuador’s Gongora is now 20-0 in his pro-career, fifteen of those successes coming via a knockout.

The big breakthrough for him was when he beat Ali Akhmedov in December 2020 to get his hands on the IBO super-middleweight crown.

He has defended it once since then, which was back in April this year.

Britain’s Richards is undefeated from fifteen pro-fights, with just three of those wins coming by a stoppage.

There was a big moment for the 29-year-old earlier this year when he stopped up to win the vacant European super-middleweight title.

That was in May over Giovanni De Carolis, a former WBC international super-middle champion.

This one looks like being a tight fight all the way and it’ll probably go the distance.

Richards’ last seven fights have done so and he’s not without hope.

Richards by Decision at 7/5
