Today’s football betting tips takes a look at some of the midweek Premier League action that is going down.

There are a couple of fixtures from the English top-flight coming up on Tuesday night and we have a selection for both games.

To round off today’s football betting, we will also be putting together a tip from the Portuguese top flight.

Best Football Betting Tips Today: Newcastle v Norwich

Football betting tips today start with a look at this basement battle from the Premier League on Tyneside.

Newcastle’s poor season didn’t get any better on the weekend as they lost 2-0 at Arsenal.

The Magpies are stuck at the bottom of the pile, still without a win on the board.

It’s been a return of D6 L7 for Newcastle this term in the top flight.

With home advantage in midweek against the team directly above them, Eddie Howe’s men surely have to be targeting this one.

They badly need to get off the mark to improve a D3 L3 home record.

As a positive, Newcastle have scored in all but one home league game this season.

Not so good is the fact that they have conceded an average of 2.7 goals per home fixture.

But are Norwich likely to pose a big threat to them?

The Canaries have just found a little bit of form.

On the weekend they made it three matches unbeaten in the top flight with a draw at home against Wolves.

That’s 7 points from the last 9 available that the Canaries have taken.

Norwich are W1 D1 L4 on the road this season, but three of those losses were against current top-five sides.

The Canaries have scored just two away goals all season, but new boss Dean Smith already has them fighting.

Draw at 13/5

Football Betting Picks Today: Leeds v Crystal Palace

Football betting for today continues with a look at the Premier League action for Tuesday night.

Leeds are still hovering too close to the drop zone for their liking.

At Elland Road this season they have claimed just the one win, which happened against Watford at the start of October.

But they are unbeaten in the last three (W1 D2) there so can take positives from that.

Leeds are only averaging a goal per home game this season, so this may not be a high-scoring affair.

Crystal Palace suffered a home loss on the weekend against Aston Villa.

They put in a poor shift in the first half of the match at Selhurst Park.

That snapped a seven-match undefeated streak of form that they have been on in the Premier League (W2 D5).

The Eagles are unbeaten in three on the road but have taken only one road win all season.

Palace have conceded at an average of more than two goals per away game.

A share of the spoils doesn’t look too unlikely in an evenly-matched looking fixture.

Draw at 5/2

Football Betting Tips for Today: BRaga v Vizela

Today’s football betting tips go to Portugal for the final selection of the day.

This looks like being a winnable home fixture for Braga who are W5 D4 L2 this season.

In their last league fixture, Braga suffered a heavy away loss at Benfica, snapping an eight-match undefeated streak of form.

This is their first league game since that November 7th fixture.

Braga are undefeated in their last four home games and have produced an average of 1.8 goals per home fixture this season.

This will be their first home match against Vizela who moved up to the top flight for the start of this campaign.

Vizela has naturally found the going tough, but they have been showing a lot of fight at the same time.

While they have only taken one win this season, Vizela have drawn 7 of their last 8 fixtures.

But the stats away from home don’t stack up for them.

They have scored just three away goals (D3 L2) and have conceded at an average of two goals per road game.

Braga to win to nil at 13/10
