It is all Matchday Five action from the Champions League for our football betting picks today.

We are bringing our top three selections to the table for today’s football betting tips as we look across the round of matches, with the group stage in its penultimate round.

There are some big battles for the top spot to be played out.

Best Football Betting Tips Today: Sevilla v Chelsea

Nothing has separated Chelsea and Sevilla in Group E as it has been a W3 D1 record from each of them.

That was after a 0-0 draw between these two at Stamford Bridge on Matchday One.

Both are already through to the next round and the winner of this will earn the top spot for themselves.

So that’s important of course because it should deliver an easier draw in the next round

Sevilla are 13/8 for the home win which is a little surprising for the reigning Europa League holders.

They have won their two home group games by a 1-goal margin.

However, they have only won one of their seven previous group stage Champions League home games against English opposition (D3 L3).

Chelsea actually have a good record against Spanish teams, losing only four of their last 25 matches against such opposition.

The Blues have only dropped one of their last 12 away games in Spain (W3 D8).

We just see this playing out as another draw because Chelsea have been very solid at the back recently and will be the happier of the two with a point.

Chelsea will round off their group stage with a winnable home game against Krasnodar.

Draw at 23/10

Football Betting Picks Today: Borussia Dortmund v Lazio

This is big action from Group F and this is for the top spot. Borussia Dortmund currently holds the top spot by a point over Lazio.

When the two met earlier in the season the Germans suffered a 3-1 loss in Italy.

So they need to redress that balance.

In the match outright for Champions League betting on Wednesday, Dortmund are 8/13 odds-on to get the victory.

That would see them win the group with a game to spare, a nice enough incentive.

They have lost three of their last six home games against Italian opposition however so we don’t think this is going to be easy.

It has been just eight wins that they have taken in their last 16 European home fixtures.

Lazio arrive looking for a win that puts them two points clear at the top with a game to play.

The Biancocelesti though have only ever taken one win in Germany (D2 L4). They have lost their last two trips there.

They are not in bad shape and do have a bit of pressure because they could still be bullied out of a top-two finish.

But we see the home win being turned up as Lazio have only managed 1-1 draws in their two away games so far against weaker opponents in the group.

Dortmund to win by a 1 goal margin at 3/1

Football Betting Tips for Today: Man Utd v PSG

Manchester United have a big chance here at Old Trafford to lock down the top spot in Group H with a victory.

Despite a terrible blip away at Istanbul Basaksehir, it has been a good campaign from United.

They redressed the balance against Basaksehir comfortably and have also beaten RB Leipzig and PSG.

The win in Paris on Matchday One was a huge shock upset as the Red Devils have been big underdogs for the trip.

It is a little hard to know what Manchester United are going to turn up. They are equally likely to be well on their game as they are to have a stinker.

United are 9/5 underdogs for this game as they look vulnerable at the back and PSG will be turning up needing a win.

Bet at Boylesports

PSG are under pressure from RB Leipzig for a qualification spot as well, so they can’t afford to let this one slip.

So they should be a danger at Old Trafford and are the 7/5 favourites.

PSG won on their last trip there, taking a 2-0 win on December 2nd last year in the round of sixteen.

The Parisian don’t have a great record in England, only W2 D4 L5. They also are not in great form.

They have lost their last two away games, one in the Champions League at RB Leipzig and then in domestic league action against Monaco.

We think they may come up short.

Manchester United to win at 9/5
