This has been a good return to form from them, and Sherif had been on a three-match losing streak.

That includes the one previous clash on clay which was last year at Charleston.
Kucova has been in very good form, having spent a lot of time on clay recently.
She reached the final of Gdynia, Poland at the end of last month, losing the showcase match.
But that has been a W7 L2 record from Kucova in her last nine clay-court matches.
So this could be close, but Sheriff, with the head to head lead, just has to take preference for tennis betting.

Tennis Betting Picks Today: Daria Kasatkina v Magda Linette
Tennis betting for today moves over to WTA San Jose for a very interesting-looking fixture.
This is a quarter-final and Russia’s Daria Kasatkina is the favourite for the contest.
She opened her account in San Jose with a victory over Caroline Garica, needing three sets to get the job done.
Kasatkina lost her one previous meeting with Magda Linette, which was at the 2018 Australian Open.
This is the first tournament that Kasatkina has played since a second-round loss at Wimbledon. So she should be fairly fresh.
Her hard-court form can’t be knocked either, winning 9 of her last 10 on this surface.
Magda Linette has performed well so far at San Jose.
Her two wins have been without her having dropped a set, the second coming in a potentially tricky one against Petra Martic.
The current form overall from Linette doesn’t quite stand up to that of Kasatkina.
Linette has beaten Ashleigh Barty and Elina Svitolina within her last ten matches, but we have to support her opponent.

Tennis for Today: Ana Konjuh v Shuai Zhang
This looks like being a really tight contest in the quarter-finals of WTA San Jose in today’s Tennis betting tips.
Croatia’s Ana Konjuh, who is ranked outside of the Top 100, has come through her two matches well.
After needing three sets to get through her First Round match, she took a routine 2-0 win over Alison Riske in the Second Round.
Konjuh is the narrow odds-on favourite in tennis betting odds for Friday.
The Croatian has won both previous matches against Zhang, the most recent of those was back in 2017.
Shuai Zhang brings some big form to the table in this quarter-final match.
She beat Britain’s Emma Raducanu in the first round and then sent Madison Keys packing.
Both of those wins were in straight sets.
That’s five wins in her last six matches now, so the Chinese player, ranked just outside the Top 50 in the world, has a bit of momentum going.
Zhang has a big chance in this one if she can keep that momentum rolling.
