Today’s tennis betting tips for Friday are all from the WTA but from two separate events.

We are looking at the action from both WTA Eastbourne and WTA Bad Homburg as we get to the business end of the week before Wimbledon.

There are some big names in action that we are looking at for our best tennis bets today and we are starting things off close to home.

Best tennis Betting Tips Today: Jelena Ostapenko v Elena Rybakina

Tennis betting tips today start with the semi-final between Jelena Ostapeko and Elena Rybakina in Eastbourne.

This looks like being a cracker.

Jelena Ostapenko has had a hard path to the semi-finals.

She started in the first round against recent French Open runner up Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova.

Then in the second round, she faced Ons Jabeur who had just picked up a title on the weekend.

The tough opponents didn’t stop there as he needed three sets to battle past Daria Kasatkina in the quarter-finals.

Elena Rybakina has been equally impressive. She has needed three sets in two of her three matches.

The best of her results was easily her second-round victory over second seed Elina Svitolina.

This will be the second meeting between these two, Ostapenko getting a win in Linz in 2019.

With similar season records, this is just such a tough one to call.

We are going to swing just towards Ostapenko who has looked slightly more at home on the grass.

Tennis Betting Picks Today: Angelique Kerber v Amanda Anisimova

We switch over to WTA Bad Homburg next for tennis betting for today.

Former Grand Slam title winner Angelique Kerber is in action and is a favourite for this quarter-final clash.

It is a tricky one however for the fourth seed.

Kerber has barely broken a sweat on home soil in Germany at this event. She looks to be moving well on the grass.

That’s helping give her the edge in the tennis betting market here.

Amanda Anisimova however has been playing well at the event too.

The American has raced through her two matches without dropping a set.

Anisimova is a super talented youngster but hasn’t quite been at her best this season.

But pretty much the same thing can be said of the vastly experienced Kerber who didn’t get much time on court during the clay swing.

This is the first meeting between the two players.

It’s a tough call, but Kerber at her best is the sounder option. Especially on grass.

Tennis for Today: Petra Kvitova v Nadia Podoroska

Today’s tennis betting tips finish up with another of the quarter-finals from Germany.

Petra Kvitova is the top seed at Bad Homburg and we would expect her to get the job done in this one.

Kvitova is still one of the best grass-court players around.

She has had some hard work at the event, needing three sets in both matches played so far, one of them against a qualifier.

Kvitova had a scare in her opener, dropping the first set.

Notably though she has gone up the gears when she has needed to.

Argentina’s Nadia Podoroska is the fifth seed at the event so this is a big clash in the draw.

Podoroska has dropped just one set in contrast to her opponent.

She also has the head to head lead over Kvitova, winning their one previous meeting.

That was earlier this year in Melbourne, taking the deciding set on a tie-break in a great match.

Can she pull it off again? On grass, we just have to lean on Kvitova to win a tight one.
