Today’s tennis betting tips take a look at the final day of the first week of action from the Australian Open 2021.

Some of the heavy hitters are in the day’s line up with Naomi Osaka and Simona Halep in action.

In the men’s draw, the big match of the day sees Dominic Thiem face a tricky test against Grigor Dimitrov.

So here are our tennis betting tips for today.

Best tennis Betting Tips Today: Garbine Muguruza v Naomi Osaka

This will be the first meeting between Garbine Mugurza and Naomi Osaka and it should be a good one.

World number three Osaka is the 8/15 favourite to get the win.

She has been in brilliant form so far, cruising through all three matches played.

That includes a dominant win over opponent Ons Jabeur in the third round.

Muguruza has had a similarly comfortable time of things.

In none of her three matches at the event has the 14th seed dropped more than four games?

So she is a threat to Osaka as the 6/4 underdog and this is a fascinating contest.

But Osaka looks just a slight step ahead. But just so we roll with the 2019 champion for tennis betting picks today.

Osaka to win at 8/15

Tennis Betting Picks Today: Iga Swiatek v Simon Halep

Next for tennis betting tips today we look at a match where the is a hint of an upset happening.

Iga Swiatek may not be the big household name that Simona Halep is, but she is one of the big rising stars.

The young Polish player picked up last year’s French Open title, in doing so becoming the youngest women’s grand slam winner since 1992.

She was also the lowest-ranked player ever to claim the French Open. It was a stingy run as the 19 years didn’t drop a single set.

She hasn’t either so far at the Australian Open 20201, breezing through her matches.

Swiatek is a very aggressive and creative player and is not out of this contest as an 11/10 quote.

Halep is in at 8/11 and the Romanian is one of the front runners to claim the title.

This looks like a really awkward fourth-round match for her.

She lost to Swiatek in last year’s round of 16 at the French Open, moving to W1 L1 in the head to head against the Polish player.

Halep did drop a set against Ajla Tomljanivc in the second round and this is a much tougher task.

Underdog Swiatek has to be worth considering in Australian Open tennis betting.

Swiatek to win at 11/10

Tennis Betting Tips for Today: Dominic Thiem

One of the tournament’s favourite Dominic Thiem survived a big scare in the third round of the Australian Open.

He had to fight back from two sets down against Nick Kyrgios to get through.

The Austrian will have been sweating about that and will have to up his game a bit after a major scare.

He is the 3/10 odds-on favourite for this fourth-round clash against Grigor Dimitrov.

Thiem actually trails the head to head against Dimitrov 2-3 and all three wins that Dimitrov has taken have been on hard courts (two indoors).

So will this be another uncomfortable match at Melbourne Park for Thiem, who is one of the tournament’s front runners?

The resolve of Thiem should really have gone up a few notches after nearly crashing out early in the last round.

We think that he gets the job done, but not without shipping a set.

Dimitrov comes in fresh after his third-round opponent Pablo Carreno Busta retired at the start of the second set.

Dominic Thiem 3-1 Set Betting at 13/5
