She recently missed out on the title at WTA Bastad and came through three qualifications to make the main draw of both the French Open Wimbledon.
As for Blinkova, she has won two of her last six matches.
Granted she met eventual champion Ashleigh Barty in the second round of Wimbledon so didn’t have much of a chance.
But the upset could be on.

Wimbledon tennis betting for today moves on to the ATP Tour for this first match between Tennys Sandgren and Joao Sousa.
American Sandgren is the favourite for this and the higher ranked player of the two.
There hasn’t been a great deal of form from him, however, losing in the second round of his last two events.
Granted he met top-quality opponents in Mallorca and at Wimbledon. At the French Open, he faced Novak Djokovic in the first round.
Draws have been a little unkind to Sandgren this season. But even on occasions where he has had decent opening matches, he has struggled. It’s a 5-10 season record for Sandgren.
Joao Sousa has been having a much worse season though with a 1-10 win/loss record.

We are expecting a comfortable win for Serbia’s Dusan Lajovic in this one.
He holds a 2-1 head to head advantage over Pouille from their previous meetings.
At Wimbledon, he lost in the second round against Britain’s Dan Evans. That left Lajovic on a 9-17 win/loss record this season.
France’s Pouille is ranked outside of the top 100 at the moment. He suffered a Wimbledon loss against a Brit, Cameron Norrie getting the better of him in the first round.
There have been only three match wins recorded by the Frenchman this season.
The former top ten player got his first victory against a top 100 player back in April since 2019.
He had missed a year and a half because of an elbow problem.
We have to think that Lajovic will wrestle him out of contention.
This is the meeting from 2017. Both of Lajovic’s victories over Pouille happened with him conceding a set.
