The days are flying by at the US Open and in today’s tennis betting tips we look at three selections from the event.

There is, once again, more British interest with Dan Evans looking to reach the Fourth Round for the first time in his career.

We take a look at his Third Round match and make two other picks for today’s tennis betting.

Best Tennis Betting Tips Today: Dan Evans v Alexei Popyrin

Tennis betting tips today starts with that looks at the Third Round action for Dan Evans.

The draw has been a little kind to him here.

Evans, who has won both of his matches so far 3-1 at the US Open, could have been meeting Top 15 seed Grigor Dimitrov on Friday.

However, the Bulgarian retired from his Second Round match against Alexei Popyrin.

So Evans, on paper, gets an easier match ahead of him. Can he take his chance?

After such a poor time for things since Wimbledon, because of illness and injury, Evans has started to look back on track.

Those successes in the first couple of rounds will have settled him.

He also has a big experience-advantage in this one. Plus he met Alexei Popyrin for the first time at this year’s Queen’s.

Evans won that in straight sets.

Australia’s Popyrin did have a little burst of form at Winston Salem recently, winning three hard-court matches there.

Before that, however, he was really struggling to put things together.

This is just the second time in the draw of the US Open for the 22-year-old, who like Evans has never been past the Third Round of a Slam.

The experience of Evans could win the day.

Tennis Betting Picks Today: Roberto Bautista Agut v Felix Auger Aliaasime

That’s long names to find room for on the scoreboard, but we look at this interesting clash next for tennis betting for today.

Spain’s Bautista Agut is sitting at 1-1 in the head to head with Canada’s Auger Aliassime.

They have traded blows on indoor hard court events before.

This is a much bigger stage and nothing much to choose between them.

33-year-old Roberto Bautista Agut has come through his opening two matches of this year’s US Open well.

He has claimed straight-set wins, the opening one of those against Nick Kyrgios.

There hasn’t been a great deal of form over the summer from the Spaniard.

Aside from a couple of wins at the ATP Masters 1000 Canada event, there has been little to write home about.

But he is the experienced one in this duel and the favourite in the match outright.

Young Canadian Felix Auger Aliassime is one of the rising stars of the game.

He has sailed through his first two matches at the event as well.

Just before this Grand Slam, Auger Aliassime won three matches at ATP Masters 1000 Cincinnati, taking Stefanos Tsitsipas to a deciding set in the Fourth Round.

He has a chance here. The Canadian reached the Round of 16 last year.

Tennis for Today: Victoria Azarenka v Garbine Muguruza

Today’s Tennis betting tips look at the headlining act of the day at the US Open.

This is a real heavyweight clash in the women’s draw and it is Victoria Azarenka who is the narrow favourite.

It has been a good season for both and this is a mouth-watering fixture.

Victoria Azarenka has been untroubled on her progress to the Third Round.

The Belarusian has not dropped a set.

The last time that she won three matches in a tournament was back in June, meaning that she hasn’t done that in any of her last four events.

Azarenka is level at 2-2 with Muguruza from their previous meetings.

Hopefully, this one goes the distance as two of the last three have ended in retirement by one of them.

The two are due to meet in the semi-final of Doha earlier this year, but Muguruza had a walkover as her opponent pulled out before the match.

Muguruza is 9th seed at the US Open.

She did have a tricky challenge in her opener against Donna Vekic but pulled through in two tight sets.

It was a breeze for her in the second round, looking much more fluent.

This can go either way, but on her day, on her form, Muguruza, how like Azarenka has been struggling for hard court form, is the better pick.
