Today’s Tennis betting tips move on to the Second Round of action at Flushing Meadows from the US Open.

Britain’s Andy Murray has fallen at the first hurdle, but Dan Evans is back in action after successfully getting past his first challenge.

We look at his next match for today’s US Open tennis betting as well as two other selections for the day.

Best Tennis Betting Tips Today: Dan Evans v Marcos Giron

Britain’s Dan Evans will have been delighted to have gotten that First Round win under his belt.

With his season getting interrupted with health issues that saw him miss the Olympics and other action, he is through to the second round.

It was a 3-1 victory over Brazil’s Thiago Monteiro that Evans claimed.

That was just his second win in seven matches in all competitions.

Evans is odds-on in tennis betting tips today to make it through to the Third Round. A stage he’s never been past at the US Open.

He faces USA’s Marcos Giron on Tuesday.

The two have already met this year, with Evans claiming a straight-sets win in Melbourne on the hard court.

We expect a similar kind of outcome.

Evans to win at 5/6

Tennis Betting Picks Today: Marketa Vondrousova v Daria Kasatkina

Tennis betting for today moves on to the women’s side of things at the US Open.

This clash between Marketa Vondrousova and Daria Kasatkina looks to be one of the more evenly matched ties of the day.

There have been three previous meetings between the two players.

From that, Vondrousova is 2-1 ahead and that includes a success in the one previous hard court meeting (Indian Wells 2019).

Vondrousova earned the silver medal at the Olympics recently and got a couple of matches under her belt last week at WTA250 Chicago.

Kasatkina is ranked higher than her opponent and won a couple of matches last week in a lower-tiered tournament.

Early last month she earned a title in San Jose on the hard court, beating Elise Mertens and Danielle Collins along the way.

But Vondrousova just looks the slightly stronger threat at the moment.

Tennis for Today: Kaia Kanepi v Leylah Fernandez

Today’s Tennis betting tips shifts gear a little bit from the other picks of the day.

That’s because we are looking towards the veteran match underdog Kaia Kanepi for the win.

The Estonian dug in and produced a come-back effort to beat 31st seed Yulia Putinsteva in the first round.

That was a big, big effort in what was Kanepi’s first match since Wimbledon.

Even with little action at the WTA/Grand Slam level this year, Kanepi holds a positive 16/10 win/loss record for 2021.

Monday’s win at Flushing Meadows saw Kanepi snap a five-match losing streak.

Young Canadian Leylah Fernandez is in the US Open draw for just the second time.

On her debut last year, she reached the Second Round as she’s done here.

It was a solid straight-sets win over Ana Konjuh that Fernandez earned.

The 18-year-old did card a couple of match wins at the Western & Southern Open in preparation for this.

She meets Kanepi for the first time, and we are leaning towards the experience of Kanepi to edge it.

Kanepi to win at 6/5
