Today’s football betting tips looks at a big evening of international football betting as the first quarter-finals of Euro 2020 start.

We look at both games that are in play for the night including the headline fixture of Belgium v Italy.

There are four tips in total for Friday. The other two for today’s football betting looks at a fixture from the Copa America quarter-finals.

Best Football Betting Tips Today: Switzerland v Spain

Football betting tips today start with the early kick-off from the European Championship quarter-finals on Friday.

Switzerland rallied brilliantly in midweek to eliminate the tournament favourites France.

The Swiss looked down and out trailing 3-1 with about 10 minutes to play, before getting level at full time.

They held their nerve superbly to win a penalty shoot-out against the French.

There have been four games played at Euro 2020 and just one match victory (90 minutes) by Switzerland (D2 L1).

Will they be able to trouble Spain? The Spaniards had a slow start to the competition but have started to look like a bigger threat.

In their final group stage match, they put five goals past Slovakia. Then in the Round of 16, they picked up a 5-3 aggregate win after extra-time against Croatia.

The head to head is interesting as it’s level at one win each and two draws in the last four meetings.

Switzerland and Spain met in last year’s Nations League, the Spaniards taking four points. They may just sneak it.

Spain to win at 4/6

Football Betting Picks Today: Belgium v Italy

Next for football betting for today, we look at a fascinating quarter-final in which one of the tournament front-runners will fall.

Belgium produced a nervy 1-0 win over Portugal in their Round of 16 match.

They were far from perfect and looked once again, unable to deliver the kind of high-quality performance they do when they face weaker opposition.

But that’s still winning momentum, with the Red Devils having won all four matches at the tournament so far.

Italy were under a little duress as they battled past Austria 2-1 after extra time in their Round of 16 match.

They weren’t at their best in that one, certainly not as good as they were during the group stage.

But the Azzurri extended their unbeaten run since September last year to seventeen matches.

That’s fourteen clean sheets by them in that sequence.

Italy had a dominant head to head lead against Belgium, including a victory over them at Euro 2016.

We think the Italians get the job done again.

Italy to win at 13/10

Football Betting Tips for Today: Peru v Paraguay

Today’s football betting tips finish off for Friday as we move over to the Copa America.

We have reached the quarter-finals there in South America as well and we look at an interesting fixture here.

Peru opened the group stage of this year’s competition with a heavy loss against Brazil.

But they won with 7 of 9 points from their other three games, including causing an upset against Colombia.

Peru do look vulnerable at the back, but are Paraguay likely to trouble them enough?

We don’t think so. Paraguay lost two of their four group stage games, failing to score in losses against Argentina and Uruguay.

In their last four matches against Peru, Paraguay are D1 L3 and they failed to score in two of those.

There’s not likely to be very much between these two on the night. Certainly not under the pressure of the situation.

A draw is going to be our pick for football betting.

Draw at 21/10

Football Betting Tips for Today: Brazil v Chile

Note that this next game from the Copa America is actually in the early hours of Saturday morning (UK time).

Brazil were steaming along in the group stage of this year’s Copa America. They won their first three at a canter.

But their winning momentum was stopped in a draw against Ecuador in their final group stage match.

They had already wrapped up the group win before that. So the Selecao aren’t going to be bothered by that.

Since the start of October last year, Brazil’s record is W9 D1. They have scored at least two goals in all but two of those fixtures.

So far at this year’s Copa America Brazil are averaging over two goals per game.

Chile scraped their way through the group stage, more than anything.

It was a W1 D2 L1 record that they took.

Their sole victory was a 1-0 success over Bolivia who finished a distant bottom. They can be pleased with hard-fought draws against Argentina and Uruguay.

But a loss in the final round of group stage matches against Paraguay will be a concern.

Brazil have won two of their last three against Chile and we think that the Selecao will do it again.

Brazil to win to nil at 11/10
