Betfair have teamed up with the Drone Racing League and the operator has an agreement to accept sports betting on the increasingly popular sport. In particular, the bookmaker was targeting the recent Allianz World Championship which was held back in London on June 13th.
The Allianz World Championship was the first professional Drone race in the UK and it featured the top pilots from all over the world. There was a multi-dimensional course spread through the Ally Pally for the exciting Championship with Drone’s flying around at over 80mph. The popularity of the Drone Racing League is rapidly growing after just being established last year.
The league comprises of six professional races with 16 pilots and the races are spread across the world from Miami, Munch and London.
