They start Sunday’s action a point behind second-placed Cardiff so they need the Bluebirds to slip up against Reading, which honestly doesn’t look all that likely. If Fulham and Cardiff finish level on points, the Cottagers would take second on goal difference. So all that Fulham can do is turn up, beat Birmingham and keep their fingers crossed that Reading do them a favour. It is a superb 23 match undefeated streak of form that Fulham are on and they are undefeated in their last eleven on the road. No-one will want to face them in the playoffs if that is where they ended up. Fulham have averaged 1.7 goals per away game this season and have netted in each of their last eleven away games. 64% of their away goals have come in the second half of matches. They do look too good to lose this really and worst case scenario is that they end up third so they can have a real go at this.
