Blackburn Rovers News and Form – First win in four for the hosts?

Since claiming back-to-back wins over Millwall and Reading last month, Blackburn Rovers have taken just one point from their last three in the Championship. They lost to Luton Town and Queens Park Rangers but managed to draw with high-flying Nottingham Forest.

The Blue and Whites crashed to a heavy defeat to QPR at Loftus Road last Saturday. Despite Bradley Dack and Adam Armstrong getting on the scoresheet in London, Rangers beat Rovers 4-2.

Blackburn have been steady at best at the start of this season. After 11 Championship matches, Mowbray’s men have won four, drawn two and lost five to occupy 14th spot. Meanwhile, Rovers have won two, drawn two and lost two of their opening six at Ewood Park. They could certainly do with all three points from this one.

Huddersfield Town News and Form – Can the Terriers extend their unbeaten run?

Huddersfield Town’s recent 1-0 win over Stoke City was the club’s first triumph since beating Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League back in February. Meanwhile, their draw against Millwall last month stopped a run of seven successive league and cup defeats.

Since the Cowley brothers arrived, Huddersfield’s fortunes have certainly turned around. They lost their opening two under the new management team, but the Terriers have accumulated an impressive seven points from their last three, securing back-to-back wins for the first time since February 2018.

Before the international break, Huddersfield were excellent in a 3-0 win over Hull City at the John Smith’s Stadium. Karlan Grant opened the scoring after 68 minutes, with Juninho Bacuna and Elias Kachunga also getting on the scoresheet.

Town will be hoping to extend their unbeaten run to four games with a positive result at Ewood Park on Saturday. The visitors are priced at 10/3 to get the win, while the draw is available at the tempting price of 13/5.

Blackburn Rovers v Huddersfield Town Predictions

Draw: Both teams will fancy their chances of winning this one. Blackburn are at home and will be expected to take the game to their guests. Meanwhile, Huddersfield will be desperate to continue their recent revival with at least a point at Ewood Park. This could be close, so have a punt on the draw and both teams to score at 15/4.

The form of Karlan Grant has been a big plus point for Huddersfield so far. The 22-year-old striker has scored six Championship goals so far, netting the opener in Town’s 3-0 home win over Hull last time out. Grant will be looking to get on the scoresheet again on Saturday, and Huddersfield’s No. 16 is priced at 13/2 to open the scoring at Ewood Park.
