Bournemouth v Tottenham Betting Tips – Premier League 11th March 4.00pm

The positive about Tottenham’s Champions League exit in midweek at the hands of Juventus is that they can put all of their energy now into a top-four finish in the Premier League. So there’s a silver lining. They get a tricky trip to the Vitality against Bournemouth on the weekend though, as the Cherries have gone through a revival to pull themselves six points clear of the drop zone.

Bournemouth News and Form

The Cherries have put together some great form having lost just once since Boxing Day. So relegation worries have faded away for them. They have failed to win any of their last three league games though, drawing their last two outings against Newcastle and Leicester. Their form at the Vitality is strong right now in the Premier League as they have gone unbeaten in their last five with a W3 D2 record. Their scoring output has been great too having returned at least two goals in each of those five games. Over 3.5 goals at Ladbrokes for 29/20 odds* (betting odds taken on March 8th, 2018 at 5:35 p.m.) is a good option here because while the Cherries are scoring well, they haven’t taken a clean sheet in their last eight home fixtures. Each of their last six league home games have made it over 2.5 goals, so both teams to score is worth considering as well. Bournemouth now average 1.4 goals per game at home this season and 70% of those have come after the halftime break. The Cherries have scored in each of their last ten league games (home and away combined) so they could have their moments in this game.

Tottenham News and Form

So the Champions League has passed Spurs by for the season having lost at home against Juventus in midweek. They still have the chance at a good top four finish though in the Premier League and they are in great domestic form, not having suffered a defeat since a reverse against Man City back in mid-December. Spurs have won their last three league games to nil. The LIlywhites are unbeaten in their last five (D3 D2) away games in the top flight, part of an overall W7 D3 L4 away record that they have posted this term. Away from home in the league, they have averaged 1.7 goals per game and they have scored in each of their last eight on the road and in each of their last seventeen Premier League games home and away combined. Harry Kane is the Ladbrokes first goalscorer favourite at 5/2* (betting odds taken on March 8th, 2018 at 5:35 p.m.) and the Lilywhites have scored in 86% of their away matches. The head into the weekend with a five-point cushion over fifth-placed Chelsea, so just need to get their heads down after their European disappointment and push on.

Bournemouth v Tottenham Head to Head

Tottenham collected a 1-0 home win over Bournemouth back in October and that moved them onto a five-match undefeated streak of form against the Cherries (W4D1). Spurs have kept four clean sheets on the bounce against the Cherries but did have to settle for a 0-0 draw at the Vitality in last season’s corresponding fixture. This will be only the seventh game between them with Spurs 4-1 ahead with one drawn game.

Bournemouth v Tottenham Predictions

Tottenham to win: Spurs have class and quality about them, but it will be a big effort for them to lift their spirits after their European disappointments in midweek. The Lilywhites can find a way to win this but look for both teams to score.
