You cannot write Switzerland off totally, as they had a great World Cup 2018 qualification campaign winning nine of ten games and they are undefeated since a lost against Portugal in their final World Cup qualification match. That was a loss which sent them through to the play offs where they edged Northern Ireland 1-0 on aggregate. Switzerland are unbeaten then in six games, winning four of those and they have won three of their last four matches as well.
