Burnley News and Form – Can Clarets get home form going?

The Clarets have been producing some good performances this season, but the wins have still been eluding them for the large part. They battled their way to a point at Brighton last weekend, with Jeff Hendrick getting a very late equaliser for Burnley down on the south coast. The one game which they won this season happened in their first game of the campaign against Southampton. Burnley are D2 L2 in their four games since then.

So Sean Dyche’s men will just be feeling the tension a bit. The success over Southampton did come at Turf Moor and in their one other home game, they hosted Liverpool, which ended up being a total write off. Even though Norwich are full of confidence, this should be one of Burnley’s easier home games because they know that they are likely to create chances in it.

Plus they have won their last five in a row at home against the Canaries. Burnley have netted at least two goals in each of their last seven at Turf Moor against Norwich as well. All three of their home goals this season have been in the second half. They have conceded the opening goal in three of their five games this season.

Norwich News and Form – Can the Canaries land another win?

What a stunning three points it was that the injury-hit Norwich picked up last weekend. They had to name two keepers on the bench to make up the numbers, but somehow Daniel Farke’s men still produced a 3-2 win against Manchester City. That was a remarkable result for them, but well earned it was because they were bold. They directly took on the visitors and at 3-1 up early in the second half, they were in dreamland. That man Teemu Pukki netted the sixth goal of his campaign in the fixture.

While they continue to look a threat at Carrow Road, are they going to be able to carry that same intensity away from home? Norwich have lost both of their away games this season, the losses happening at West Ham and Liverpool. The 2-0 defeat at West Ham is the only game in which Norwich have not scored this season. Four of their five games this season have made it over 2.5 goals, but Norwich have conceded at least two goals in each of their last three played now. If they can avoid defeat it would be a good output after their win last weekend.

Burnley v Norwich Predictions

Burnley to win: Norwich look like they are going to continue to cause teams problems at Carrow Road, but out on the road the story may not be the same for them. Burnley will be keen to get at them because they need a good three points. Home win.
